@aubreyvermaak609 Thank you so much for your comment!! I really appreciate it 👍🏻😃
Excellent
@tosdawg Thank you!! 👍🏻
Great video. Thanks
Got a question mate, is 292 mm diameter of front brake disc will also fit on e60 2007 163 bhp?The standard is 310 mm.
@eilrahcrn Hi thanks for the comment really appreciate it! 👍🏻
In regards to the Disc's I'm not too sure mate. They sound like they are for the 120d. They will probably fit the hub on the e60 but you might find the pad slightly come over the lip of the disc. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
@@TheBimmerFixer Many thanks for the reply mate. More power to your channel👍
@eilrahcrn You're very welcome mate! Thank you for supporting my channel 👍🏻
Still no plusgas ? Ps, you don't have to remove the carrier to remove the disc, had the handbrake shoes fitted today, the adjusting cog on my LCI 2010 E60 Is at the 9pm position, not 6pm like yours, most strange ? Funnily enough I also had EICHER pads and rear discs fitted on mine today, same place as you I expect, euroCRAPparts ?
Hi t5jerry it's on the way, it should have been here yesterday and I didn't have time to get to the shops this morning 😂. Well I wanted to to give the carrier a clean anyway 😂. Hmm that is strange maybe different size 🤔 what engine have you got? Haha no got them from an online supplier.
@@TheBimmerFixer mines the 520D , it's a 2010 model, so 1 of the last, was your online supplier cheaper than E.C.P ? I was going to fit A.T.E pads and discs, which I believe is O.E.M ? But the PRICE !!!!! I'll see how the eichers last and perform....... Please let me know how much you paid for your part, if you don't mind 🤫
That might be why, the discs are different sizes and shapes. Yeah they were? By about 50% even after the silly discount ECP give you 😂. Iv never had a problem with these brakes, don't get me wrong I wouldn't want to take them in a track but for what I need them for they are fine.
@@TheBimmerFixer so what's the name of this great supplier please ? Ps, my alloys are HEAVILY ingrained with brake dust, tried the usual brands of alloy wheel cleaners, but no joy, any recommendations my old mate 🫡🫡🫡
You won't say, can you say privately thru email ?
How come brake pads look
Different? Both with pins on back
@Quick2004 Great question! I actually contacted the manufacturer about this because I've used these a few times and sometimes they have pins on the back and others not. Apparently thats something they have changed now and all come with pins on the back. Well noticed 👍🏻
@@TheBimmerFixerhi what size are the front discs on the E 60 2.5i in diameter
@thomasshepard3060 Hi there, on my 218hp 525i they are 324mm. Another way to check is if the hub part of the disc steps down then they are the slightly smaller disc's 320mm. If the hub is the same level all the way across and has a little taper at the end thats the bigger 324mm hope that helps.
