I am from Maldives and I am going to Malaysia in a couple of days. October 1st I am planning to visit lalaport and time square. Watched both of your videos. So informative 😊
Love this area too! U will have to stay at lucentia residence airbnb sometime. It’s the one with see thru pool u pointed at! Has the most beautiful common areas/ponds/pools + is connected to lalaport-so convenient. 10 min walk to ICC pudu hawker center for yummy brunches + the best iced hainan tea&kopi. I love the two mall options as well, newer lalaport + more budget berjaya across the road. Enjoyed having both options 👌
@@bluestarfishsea Oh wow! That Airbnb sounds lovely! We will definitely have to remember to look into it next time. We also have to visit ICC pudu hawker center! 😊
We LOVE perusing malls all over !! We're not huge shoppers (anymore 🤭) but we explore malls for the aesthetics ALL the time !! There's something sooooooo pleasing about that !! Stay safe you guys !! 🙌🏽🫶🏽
Highly recommend trying the Borneo Latte at The Brew Crew. It's their signature drink made with gula apong, a natural Nipah palm sugar all the way from Sarawak. It has a unique and delicious flavor-definitely worth a try on your next visit!
Hope that you guys have had a good time at the Lalaport Mall in BBCC. What a wonderful day of exploration in a mall. You guys have such a good vibe together.
Another fun fact. The site of KLCC and the KLCC park was once a turf club, a horse race course, redeveloped into KLCC, beginning in early 1993 and completed in 1998.
Lala Port is a little out of the main Bukit Bintang economic zone. It did not attract enough shoppers there for the past couple of years. The mall management need to put their head together on how best to attract both local and foreign shoppers or mall-goers. They'll thrive soon i'm pretty sure.
uniquely Asian is the condensed milk used in coffee tea pastries and desserts.. had those since i was a kid as pan de sal filling,,( spanish salty buns ) great also with arabica / robusta coffee... thats an awe inspiring mall interesting modern architecture
@@allancristophe6810 Condensed milk is definitely nostalgic for me (Linda), too! I can’t think of anything with condensed milk that I haven’t enjoyed. 😅 This mall was so different to us, we really enjoyed it! We can’t wait to see what it evolves into in the future!
@@BingoandBinew back home we put Condensed milk on HaloHalo... Champorado ( Spanish influence Dark choco cocoa porridge).. well were not young anymore so watch the sugar!😀..
@@allancristophe6810 That sounds so delicious! Thankfully I don’t have much of a sweet tooth, I prefer savoury food almost always. Jon on the other hand, he’s working on ordering drinks at 50% sweet! 😂
Malaysian are crazy about malls. There's about 1 big mall in every 5 km radius in KL and Klang Valley. Approximately 1 new mall will be launch or relaunch annually, and unfortunately 1 mall probably will take dive. Malls are very much compete among themselves. Offering experience, lifestyle, events space and festival decoration, and we have about 4 major festivals and more each year.
@@bartocastro3672 See we didn’t know this about Malaysians, but that’s so interesting to know! 😮 We obviously love malls as well, and find them so fascinating! We use to be retail managers so we see them in a different light, too! 😆
it seems you mental ability to travel in that city is very limited.. there are other malls that is far better then LaLa port.. try travelling to the suburbs.. some of the biggest Mall in the world is out there.. seriously what a laugh..
Malls are just like food, everybody has different tastes and needs. Ranking is something subjective. Lalaport for me is top 5 but I cannot say whether it's in number 5 or not. TRX also in my must list. For me IOI is at the top not due to its size but more wheelchair friendly. Kuala Lumpur is where malls gather 😊.
@@kamaruddin9172 We absolutely agree with you! Everyone is different in what they like, and that’s okay. 😊 For some reason some people get upset if you have a different outlook than them. 😓
