Question Time Stamps for Quick Reference:
    0:00 Introduction
    1. 0:09 If aliens do exist, how would that affect the faith of Christians? Would aliens disprove Christianity?
    2. 16:19 Regarding 1 Corinthians 7: 14 where it speaks of sanctification for the unbeliever if married to a believer, I have found it hard to understand that passage and was wondering if you could help me.
    3. 20:11 Have you heard of the Documentary Hypothesis, and if so, can you tell me your thoughts about it?
    4. 22:00 I believe in Christianity, but I have major doubts about Heaven & a fear of death. Can I know for sure while here on earth that it's true?
    5. 27:00 How is Hebrews 13:2 to be interpreted? Have some people literally entertained angels without being aware? Do angels actually interact with creation in a tangible sense?
    6. 30:39 I often hear Christians say that when we face big struggles it's because good things are coming. Is there any Biblical truth to this, or is this just a different version of the prosperity gospel?
    7. 32:04 Is “revival” biblical?
    8. 33:42 Why does Isaiah 9:6 call Jesus the “everlasting Father”? Oneness Pentecostals keep using this verse against me and I haven’t seen a good response. I don’t want to twist the Bible.
    9. 34:56 I have such a sensitive conscience that I feel it’s a burden sometimes. People can’t even remember what I’m apologizing for! How can I change this? Not to be free to sin, but to live.
    10. 37:36 Are women allowed to speak at all during Bible study? Such as read the Bible, pray the opening/closing prayer, or give commentary, and just not teach? Or do we have to be completely silent the entire time?
    11. 38:07 What are your thoughts on Judges 11 and why Jephthah made his vow and followed through with it, even after God's Spirit was on him?
    12. 43:35 Why don’t we celebrate Jewish holidays? God says in the OT to observe them forever. During the 1,000 year reign with Christ, we all observe them. Why don’t grafted-in Christians observe them now?
    13. 46:00 I am trying to disciple my dad and he says he believes in Christ, yet wants nothing to do with Him. What do I do?
    14. 47:53 How would you recommend determining credible commentaries, studies, & pastors? I am a new Christian & have concern about being inadvertently led astray by unbiblical interpretations & viewpoints.
    15. 49:20 Mike describes himself as “charismatic” a lot. I’m just wondering if he can clarify what he means by that. Does he or his church practice the “gifts of the Spirit,” like tongues, prophecy, etc.?
    16. 54:00 How can you know for sure that a loved one went to heaven?
    17. 54:44 I have heard the range for Jesus' death to be between 26-36 (A.D.) with 30 and 33 being the most agreed upon contenders for Jesus’ death. Can we know for certain the exact year He died?
    18. 55:58 If God said He would rid all creatures with a flood, what happened to the fish? And if they died, how did they multiply, because fish can’t be on an ark?
    19. 56:29 Are "white lies" ok, to spare your spouse’s feelings? For example, when they ask what someone said and you say "I'm not really sure," but you do remember.
    20. 59:09 How much freedom do we have in the marriage bed? Are some sexual acts prohibited even for married couples?

Aliens? I've heard a general view on the possibilities of Satan (and his demons) being able to disguise themselves as angels of light. How much more easier would it be to disguise themselves as aliens? They are spiritual beings but are able to do some crazy stuff that we humans can't, like possess other people and animals and control nature (think Job) and have a first hand knowledge of the past and even are able to be with you right now as you sit there in order to grab intel since they are spiritual being. Yes our God is far greater but you should be aware of this. I personally doubt that there is other legitimate life out there, but as mentioned a demon could pass off as such. Christ dying once and for all for us and then dying once and for all on another few planets seems messed up.

True, but there is legitimate debate on the dating methods of fossils. Did you know they’ve recently discovered accidentally DNA, tissue, blood in dinosaur fossil? (In particular a tooth of a T-Rex)
They can’t explain this at all because it should be impossible. Tissue, blood, DNA cannot exist for the amount of time that the fossils are dated for. They decay way too quickly. It’d still decay before the dates attributed to these fossils even if the fossils had been frozen solid in winter conditions all those years.
But, those fossils weren’t frozen, they were unearthed in hot climates.
I recommend looking at creation ministries international website for information on this type of thing.
Basically, it’s still possible for the fundamental/traditional interpretation of the Bible to be correct.
Aliens is speculated by some that it might be deceptions by fallen angels. Some Christians have interviewed people who claim to have encountered aliens or had been abducted and they found every description was a negative experience and also very disturbing to all who experienced it. But, one thing really interesting they found was in some experiences the person believed in Jesus and the only people who successfully avoided them. In these interviews these people said they cried out the name of Jesus and immediately the aliens left.
So yeah, if you ever encounter an alien call out for Jesus is my recommendation.

I agree with your assessment of lying to an Alzheimer patient. Imagine what it would be like if the person forgot every single day that their spouse had died. They ask where he is and when you tell them he died they grieve like it's a new and recent loss. Repeat this scenario every single day. Now let's say you respond with "I think he's at work." Or something like that. They'll ask again the next day but they aren't grieving through intense loss on a daily basis. I think to tell them the truth would be extremely unkind.

Question 15 where you talk about tongues was very helpful. I received tongues nearly 47 years ago, but encountered teaching about how you've got to speak in tongues at least an hour a day if you want to see the Holy Spirit move in power in your life. That just put me under a heavy burden, and I was too weak-willed to even try. My son was saved in his early teens but fell away after several years. He's now in his forties, and I lately found out that his youth group was pressuring him to speak in tongues and he just wouldn't fake it, so abandoned Christianity altogether. Thank you for pointing out that some of this tongues teaching is very abusive.

Great stuff. I had always thought Aliens must be impossible (or devils) until I heard CS Lewis Space Trilogy. He does a great job not requiring another incarnation. Narnia is more analogy/parabolic to help kids understand Christ; Space Trilogy is for older teens and adults and really broadened my mind to Christ being the same while still having possibilities of life on other planets. I expect Lewis explanation would be similar to yours theologically.

Isn’t the qualifier there important? “In the world”. What world do you think of? Isn’t this a reference to life on earth? I’m not saying God’s love isn’t preached anywhere intelligent life is in existence. Rather that there may be a different way of saying He loves them. If I show my son I love him, he can feel it; however the actions I do with my son do not transfer automatically to my daughter. Though I love her just as much and she needs my actions of love (different, yet from my same will, purpose and heart).

Sadly, my family is in that circle of hyper-charismatic/WoF who think if you don't speak in tongues, you don't have the Holy Spirit and so you can't have a true understanding of scripture. I used to have a fake gift of tongues, but since the Lord woke me up and led me out of that whole mess I went through a journey to cessationism and then back to continuationism, but not what I would call charismatic. So often it feels like an utter waste of breath when I try to talk to my family about the truth of scripture because they've determined I'm no longer spirit-filled and therefore I don't have the truth. It's sad and frustrating.

I'm in a similar situation, but usually call myself a Pentecostal. I typically define Charismatic as people who are more concerned with the Experience. The biggest issue I have with Pentecostal denominations like the AoG is that the Gifts are not contingent upon a person speaking in Toungs first, which they teach. I also disagree with both types of denominations in that I don't think it's Biblical to teach that a person can control the Gifts. We don't "own" them, and the only choice we have is to be open to God or not.
God bless you, and Maranatha ! ! !

@@padillas4357 Exactly. I've put a lot of study into the gifts, and where I've landed is that it's God who controls them, and He distributes them when, where, and to whom He pleases, to accomplish His purposes. I don't believe that God is a cessationist, but there's so much misunderstanding, misapplication and outright abuse of the gifts in charismatic circles that I really hesitate to identify as a charismatic (and the church I attend is hardline cessationist. I pray for them to be more open to spiritual gifts). Bottom line is, God is God and He can do what He wants.

A minute or two later my friends looked in their rearview mirror and the man and car was nowhere to be seen, and of course not in front of them either. I believe God, through an angel was watching out for these young girls. 💖

As for alien life in space, C.S. Lewis deals with this wonderfully in the first two books of his Space Trilogy (actually a terrible name to call it considering Lewis's ideas on cosmology, but he didn't call it that, publishers do). Out of the Silent Planet, and Perelandra, are the first two novels. The third is That Hideous Strength.
In the first novel there is a fallen world (Malacandra) but it's Oyarsa (sort of an overseeing angel) did not fall, as Satan did. So the world there is mostly peaceful and is follows the Oyarsa's directives from God, though there is still death there. But things like death are seen rightly, from God's perspective, not from a fallen one. (It's complicated to explain here).
The second world, Perelandra, is unfallen and has just two inhabitants, it's version of an Adam and Eve. Satan tempts the Eve of this world, and a human named Ransom (the main character) tries to fend off his temptations, though this proves difficult in the extreme. At the end of Perelanda, the Eve tells Ransom that if that world had also fallen, then Christ would not have come to die there as He did on Earth, but a higher/deeper means would have been necessary, because He does not do the same thing twice, but always better, (or something like that). So Lewis seems to agree with your reading of Romans that there would be no second crucifixion. A great trilogy to read, I highly recommend it. Lewis and Tolkienn (great friends in real life) challenged each other to write a Sci-Fi story, but only Lewis was able to complete his before his death.

My favorite professor is a Lewis fanboy, and I ended up taking an undergrad class in the literature of Lewis and a grad class in the theology of Lewis. He also felt that "Space Trilogy" was a horrible name for it, and preferred to call it the "Cosmic Trilogy" or the "Ransom Trilogy".
I particularly love the "Blessed Be He" passage from Perelandra. It has such a beautiful picture of our place in the universe.

On the issue of speaking in tongues: back when I was in high school I was preparing to go on a mission trip to Romania, and the group I was going with as well as myself, we attended this service somewhere which I don't recall. The church decided to pay over us, which was normal, but some of the people praying were "speaking in tongues." Well, I didn't understand any of what was being said, no interpreting whatsoever was given, and more than just feeling awkward about it, it felt wrong to me. I've heard people do this before, so it's not like I didn't know what was going on. Anyway, I prayed for protection because of how wrong it felt, I wanted nothing to do with it in that instance. Health wise, getting the finances together, and getting everything else necessary for the trip, I had no problems, I almost didn't have to put forth any effort. I had to do things like physically go out and get my passport photo taken, and the forms filled out, but there were no issues that needed correcting in the process. Everyone else going was having problems getting funding, or they were dealing with illnesses, or other problems. I don't know if the tongues thing had anything to do with it. I feel it very well could have, as we have no idea what was being said, or where the words being spoken were coming from. It could be that I didn't have problems because of how much I trusted in God to get to Romania, and I'm certain that's at least part of it. I can name other examples of when I just knew it was time for me to do something and nothing went wrong, and it happened just when it needed to happen. At any rate, I offer this post just to say that we should be respectful of spiritual gifts, we shouldn't, as Mike points out, abuse them or use them abusively. I'm thankful that he says as much. That's not how God works, that's not how our faith works. That said, I, like Mike, also believe that the gifts are still active, so I'm not saying speaking in tongues can't happen, just that I don't think it really happens as often as many charismatics believe it does.

I liked your answer about being charismatic. I can remember as a 16 year old, just saved, visiting with another new Christian teen. She asked me to speak in tongues for her so she could hear it, lol! I do pray in tongues quite often, (in my private prayer time) but I don't think it should be a performance thing. (Though it could be done in church if there's an interpretation. I go to a Baptist church right now, where it might not be the best idea.) I even knew that 50 years ago when my friend asked me that question. I'm very bothered about the hyper-charismatic movement, though I somehow didn't question it too much for years. When I watch them now, laying hands on someone who then flops around on the floor, all I can think is, that looks more like someone who is experiencing demonic possession, not infilling of the Holy Spirit. Something which Paul taught should be done in an orderly manner in the church has become a show.

I've never heard a satisfying answer to the Isaiah 9 question either. My own thinking, which isn't wholly satisfactory, but it's the best I've got, is that the Father and the Son are one. That is to say, the Father is in the Son, and the Son is in the Father, and to see the Son is to see the Father because He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature; and in Him, all the fullness of the Godhead dwells in bodily form.
The Trinity is not three separate Gods, but One God revealed in three Persons, and I think sometimes we separate them too much in our minds. Scripture says that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself.

I believe the evidence points strongly towards aliens being fallen angels and or demonic entities.
Easy thing to have a look at 'ancient aliens' on Netflix, replace alien with fallen angel and it still works, and the movie/documentary 'the fourth kind', the real footage in the film is rather in your face.

The idea of one third of the angels falling from heaven is found in Revelation 12:4: "His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth." This passage is often interpreted to mean Satan and a third of angels were removed from heaven to earth. Interpreters differ whether this refers to a past event (referring to Satan's original rebellion against God), a future time during the tribulation period when Satan and his angels will be sent to operate on earth, or involves aspects of both (one third fell in the past, yet will not be not sent to operate on earth as Revelation 12 states until the future).
It is clear angels have existed since the beginning of creation (Job 38:7). Sometime prior to Genesis 3, Satan (then a leading angel) rebelled against God and was judged (Ezekiel 28; Isaiah 14). It is believed many other angels rebelled with him during this time, becoming the fallen angels or demons mentioned throughout the Bible.
A close look at Revelation 12 does clarify some aspects. It is clear one third of the angels are fallen or have become demons. Since the number of angels is "innumerable" (Hebrews 12:22), one third includes a vast number of demons who have rebelled against God. In Mark 5 Jesus met a man possessed by so many demons that they called themselves "Legion." Jesus allowed the demons to enter pigs when they left the man; the herd of about 2,000 pigs rushed off the steep bank and drowned in the sea (Mark 5:9-13). Mary Magdalene was freed from seven spirits (Luke 8:2). Jesus also mentioned another account of seven spirits together at one time (Matthew 12:45; Luke 11:26).
Ephesians 6:12 acknowledges these demonic powers and the difficulties they can present: "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places." Believers are called to "wear" the full armor of God to protect against these forces of evil.
Though powerful, believers need not fear these many demons. As Peter notes, "For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment" (2 Peter 2:4). This verse, part of a larger argument about God's ability to rescue, shows that every fallen angel will one day be judged along with Satan. Their power and time are limited

@Blaise Now look, I can see that you don't believe that. I am not going to set here and try to convince you different. The Bible does not specifically call them aliens. You have to remember when the Bible Scriptures were written. If there were real aliens they would not have been hiding for thousands of years. Some are free to roam in this universe and do things that look wonderous to us. You wish to call them ET's because you are stuck on science fiction books, tv and movies.

Thoughts on this ? Genesis 6:1 tn The Hebrew text has the article prefixed to the noun. Here the article indicates the generic use of the word אָדָם (ʾadam): “humankind.”
Genesis 6:1 tn This disjunctive clause (conjunction + subject + verb) is circumstantial to the initial temporal clause. It could be rendered, “with daughters being born to them.” For another example of such a disjunctive clause following the construction וַיְהִי כִּי (vayehi ki, “and it came to pass when”), see 2 Sam 7:1.
Genesis 6:1 tn The pronominal suffix is third masculine plural, indicating that the antecedent “humankind” is collective.
Genesis 6:2 sn The Hebrew phrase translated “sons of God” (בְנֵי־הָאֱלֹהִים, vene haʾelohim) occurs only here (Gen 6:2, 4) and in Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7. There are three major interpretations of the phrase here. (1) In the Book of Job the phrase clearly refers to angelic beings. In Gen 6 the “sons of God” are distinct from “humankind,” suggesting they were not human. This is consistent with the use of the phrase in Job. Since the passage speaks of these beings cohabiting with women, they must have taken physical form or possessed the bodies of men. An early Jewish tradition preserved in 1 En. 6-7 elaborates on this angelic revolt and even names the ringleaders. (2) Not all scholars accept the angelic interpretation of the “sons of God,” however. Some argue that the “sons of God” were members of Seth’s line, traced back to God through Adam in Gen 5, while the “daughters of humankind” were descendants of Cain. But, as noted above, the text distinguishes the “sons of God” from humankind (which would include the Sethites as well as the Cainites) and suggests that the “daughters of humankind” are human women in general, not just Cainites. (3) Others identify the “sons of God” as powerful tyrants, perhaps demon-possessed, who viewed themselves as divine and, following the example of Lamech (see Gen 4:19), practiced polygamy. But usage of the phrase “sons of God” in Job militates against this view. For literature on the subject see G. J. Wenham, Genesis (WBC), 1:135.
Genesis 6:3 tn The verb form יָדוֹן (yadon) only occurs here. Some derive it from the verbal root דִּין (din, “to judge”) and translate “strive” or “contend with” (so NIV), but in this case one expects the form to be יָדִין (yadin). The Old Greek has “remain with,” a rendering which may find support from an Arabic cognate (see C. Westermann, Genesis, 1:375). If one interprets the verb in this way, then it is possible to understand רוּחַ (ruakh) as a reference to the divine life-giving spirit or breath, rather than the Lord’s personal Spirit. E. A. Speiser argues that the term is cognate with an Akkadian word meaning “protect” or “shield.” In this case, the Lord’s Spirit will not always protect humankind, for the race will suddenly be destroyed (E. A. Speiser, “YDWN, Gen. 6:3, ” JBL 75 [1956]: 126-29).
    Genesis 6:3 tn Or “forever.”
Genesis 6:3 tn The form בְּשַׁגַּם (beshaggam) appears to be a compound of the preposition ב (bet, “in”), the relative שֶׁ (she, “who” or “which”), and the particle גַּם (gam, “also, even”). It apparently means “because even” (see BDB 980 s.v. שֶׁ).
Genesis 6:3 tn Heb “he”; the plural pronoun has been used in the translation since “man” earlier in the verse has been understood as a collective (“humankind”).
    Genesis 6:3 tn Heb “flesh.”
Genesis 6:3 tn See the note on “they” earlier in this verse.
Genesis 6:3 tn Heb “his days will be 120 years.” Some interpret this to mean that the age expectancy of people from this point on would be 120, but neither the subsequent narrative nor reality favors this. It is more likely that this refers to the time remaining between this announcement of judgment and the coming of the flood.
Genesis 6:4 tn The Hebrew word נְפִילִים (nefilim) is simply transliterated here, because the meaning of the term is uncertain. According to the text, the Nephilim became mighty warriors and gained great fame in the antediluvian world. The text may imply they were the offspring of the sexual union of the “sons of God” and the “daughters of humankind” (v. 2), but it stops short of saying this in a direct manner. The Nephilim are mentioned in the OT only here and in Num 13:33, where it is stated that they were giants (thus KJV, TEV, NLT “giants” here). The narrator observes that the Anakites of Canaan were descendants of the Nephilim. Certainly these later Anakite Nephilim could not be descendants of the antediluvian Nephilim (see also the following note on the word “this”).
Genesis 6:4 tn This observation is parenthetical, explaining that there were Nephilim even after the flood. If all humankind, with the exception of Noah and his family, died in the flood, it is difficult to understand how the postdiluvian Nephilim could be related to the antediluvian Nephilim or how the Anakites of Canaan could be their descendants (see Num 13:33). It is likely that the term Nephilim refers generally to “giants” (see HALOT 709 s.v. נְפִילִים) without implying any ethnic connection between the antediluvian and postdiluvian varieties.
Genesis 6:4 tn Heb “would come to.” The verb בּוֹא (bo’; “to come, enter”) with the preposition אֶל (’el; “to”) means “to approach, to come to” (HALOT 113 s.v. בּוֹא) and is a euphemism for coming together for sexual relations. See the note at 2 Sam 12:24 on this phrase being only a euphemism. A more literal rendering such as “get together with” would be less clear about the sexual implication, so a clearer euphemism has been used for the translation. The Hebrew imperfect verbal form portrays the action as repetitive or customary.
Genesis 6:4 tn Heb “and they gave birth to them.” The masculine plural suffix “them” refers to the “sons of God,” to whom the “daughters of humankind” bore children. After the Qal form of the verb יָלָד (yalad, “to give birth”) the preposition ל (lamed, “to”) introduces the father of the child(ren). See Gen 16:1, 15; 17:19, 21; 21:2-3, 9; 22:23; 24:24, 47; 25:2, etc.
Genesis 6:4 tn The parenthetical/explanatory clause uses the word הַגִּבֹּרִים (haggibborim) to describe these Nephilim. The word means “warriors; mighty men; heroes.” The appositional statement further explains that they were “men of renown.” The text refers to superhuman beings who held the world in their power and who lived on in ancient lore outside the Bible. See E. A. Speiser, Genesis (AB), 45-46; C. Westermann, Genesis, 1:379-80; and Anne D. Kilmer, “The Mesopotamian Counterparts of the Biblical Nephilim,” Perspectives on Language and Text, 39-43.
Genesis 6:4 tn Heb “men of name” (i.e., famous men).

I don't know how earth-like life could be living on lights in our firmament. The bible never says other beings are living on top of the lesser lights in the firmament. Or on rocks next to them? No reference to rocks in the firmament, only lights.

@@Volleyball_Chess_and_Geoguessr Fallen angels very well could be what we call “aliens” today if you take that view of Genesis 6. But again, I was replying to the part “I believe that God has created the planets and universes to drive home the point of just how much we mean to Him”, because the Bible already addresses that “the heavens declare the glory of God”.
Of course the Bible wouldn’t mention specifically life on other planets, the Bible isn’t a book detailing every detail of the heavens or of every species on the earth. The Bible records God and man and reveals God and his redeeming work for man and for his glory. There is no need to “make up stuff not in the Bible” because this is not a Biblical issue. Neither is the existence of other planets.

l love listening to you, and you are a blessing to so many including myself. l want to thank thank you for all you do, but l would also like to simply say that Ministering Angels do walk amongst mankind daily... just because one does not see numerous accounts in the bible, does not stand as evidentiary witness to those things God does not choose to readily make known to fallen, mortal man. We are called to walk by Faith, not by sight...

I absolutely dig the aliens topic. When I was younger I was given some teachings (based on these exact same verses) that were presented as concrete end-all-be-all evidence against the possibility of alien life. Me being a huge engineering/science/scifi/space nerd who knows how big the universe truly is, that stumped and frustrated me for a long time.
As I got older my own personal passions led me toward writing science fiction, and since I wanted aliens in it, I always did it under the understanding that it was non-biblical or faux-biblical at best. Now that I'm much MUCH older, I think I'm starting to understand the purpose and limited scope of the Bible (as a model for life not as a scientific textbook) so I know longer consider it a closed case, and am fully prepared, even hopeful, for the possibility of alien life. But the serious questions about how sin and Christ interact with humanity (if humanity suddenly becomes a less-than-100% cross section of what we consider 'people') will always remain. And I think until we actually meet aliens, and exchange stories with them about the nature of own relationships (or lack thereof) with God, I don't think the questions will ever disappear in any way. Having conversations like these are a awesome way to start.
But the good news is that such questions are perfectly irrelevant until such day as we meet aliens, so there's no reason to lose sleep over it. :)

The thumbnail made me remember when a pastor I loved to listen to before he passed, said Earth was a prison planet and aliens are told not to come here. I don't remember the full context, he liked to crack jokes from time to time in his sermons. It's nice to remember that.
I do think if they visited they'd probably be demons or a deception but that's my opinion.

It sounds to me like you don't really believe deep down. I was like that for a while. I grew up with an atheist worldview, then I tried to be Catholic and tried to believe, but I've come to the conclusion that belief is not a simple thing at all. You can't actually force yourself to believe something you don't believe. I think you've got to do the work to truly believe the Words of God. Once you believe the Words of God, then you will believe what it says because you will know it's God speaking them to you and God doesn't lie. John Kostik is a youtube channel that shows just the many many ways that God proves his word is from him and not man. Might help. For me, I became a born again Christian after 6 months of intense research into flat earth. It just all made sense as the most likely reality that the bible is true once I knew the earth is flat and stationary. So I would try to prove the bible as much as we can. Don't run away from hard questions.

Psychological doubt and "feeling" to not equate to true faith. I trust in Jesus and what HE did... not my own works. I don't buy the flat earth narrative at all, but it's also a non issue for salvation. Fix your eyes on Him alone. In the book of Mark when the man says to the Lord, "I believe, help me in my u belief" is such a beautiful scripture to show how a lot of believers feel from time to time.

The bible does kind of imply that we are the only living beings in the universe. When Adam named his wife Eve, it says "because she became the mother of all living" (talking about humans, of course). From that, you can extrapolate that if aliens do exist, they either originated from Eve, somehow, or bible was wrong about Eve being the mother of all living.

Those who are into UFO’s tend to be more into the new age version of Jesus or some sort of new age system of belief. I am experiencing this in my own family. I am praying for them and talking to them every time the door opens to do so. It is interesting that the newest direction of UFO believers is that aliens are from the spiritual realm, most likely angels. Where the bone on contention I run into with conversation is whether they are fallen or good angels. Man, comes down to discernment and having a good foundation in knowing your Bible.

Growing up as a Charismatic it was drummed into me that although other sects and denominations see us as "loose and compromising", we have freedom in Christ under the New Testament .. but after a few months of your videos I've come to see the Charismatics as being in fact deeply in bondage and quite conservative with the laws we abided by and by our understanding of what the Bible says God expects of us and from us, compared to what you're preaching, and what you say makes sense to me and checks out against the Word of God which has always been my guide, but how can that be? How can two so different teachings both be inspired by and justified by scripture?? It's as if our way of thinking is changing without us being aware of it and I worry that by the time my day comes and I face my maker I will have so severely compromised and reasoned away truly Godly behaviour that He won't know me... because He is the same yesterday today and forever. In short, I am seeing that the biggest threat to followers of Christ is not in fact blatant false teaching, the wickedness of modern living and heresy but subtle changes in the way we are perceiving scripture and thereby justifying our actions and beliefs - ultimately being lead further and further away from God. I would never have expected a Bible teacher to suggest that I might need to witness to the aliens!

I would suggest that angels represent "alien" life, since as I understand the scriptures, they predate life on earth and are from elsewhere in heaven. As far as the theological implications of alien life, James Blish dealt with this subject in his novel, A CASE OF CONSCIENCE.
