I definitely have to check this place out! I like Detroit style, but it's also a type of pizza that I haven't had enough of. I wish there were more places to get it in NYC.
Funny, the Detroit looks dense. Was surprised you described it as light and airy. Looks delicious!! I'm gluten-free...I'm sure it's not but boy would I LOVE a slice. Well done! And your friend is brave to score in front of the staff. I'm in Boston but from upstate...ya just can't get that kind of pizza here. It's all the same!
The pizza looked solid! I could see the low 8, high 7's there! Noah this video was great, love the atmosphere when eating in a restaurant. Nothing like reviewing a pizza right in front of the guy that made it and having the dignity to give it less than an 8, because everyone wants the 8.
great lookin pizzas....i do prefer the basil to be put on the pie fresh out of the oven, not cooked with the pizza...also, i think the hot honey works a lot better when there are salty toppings on the pizza, like a pork product or olives
@@NoahEatsI'm a fairly new subscriber. I'll take a close look at where you been. I had thought you were NYC based. But in this video you mentioned you're Long Island based. In that case, I think most spots out on the Island aren't represented on Pizza UA-cam. So there's a lot uncovered. I only know both the Umberto's, Frank Pinello's place, and Barstool Frankie's place. I'm up here in Westchester and I'm more familiar with here and NYC spots with a little CT experience. But my instinct says to cover Long Island.
Thanks Christopher! I'm always looking to share my food adventures. I would like to visit more NYC pizzerias and other foodie establishments. On Long Island, it varies with the basic pie that I grew up with in the 70s. Here is my playlist of the current pizza reviews ua-cam.com/play/PLenfCTBi883xRCY_342nCaSq_f-FJvblY.html
They have a store right down the street from Paulie G's. I can't get used to the honey on a pizza, I think it's good to try once in a while but I wouldn't order it for pizza unless there's a ton of pepperoni on it, but then again, if I'm going to eat anything with a ton of pepperoni on it, it's gonna be a sandwich.
Anything with pizza 🍕. Count me in. Love it.
Thanks for watching, hopefully we can break pizza some day soon! What is your favorite topping or style of pizza?
Pizza is my religion
Pizza and a Manhattan Special......a perfect pairing! 👍🏼
Thanks for watching! It's a great combo isn't it! Hope you like my other videos too!
Beautiful review! Keep em coming Noah!
Thanks for your support 🙏
@@NoahEats always! I would love to see more micrometer measuring and undercarriage reviews
@@chaunce47 I was just thinking if I should bring the caliper! 😆
@@NoahEats Now that would be quite the scene at the local pizzeria! I say do it!

Haven't had time to explore Emmy Squared. Let me know if you visit!
@@NoahEats Definitely! I haven't been there, but I've heard good things.

Thanks for watching. Alot has to do with dough prep. Enough fermentation allows for light crust and the baking pan makes it crispy

Wow.... first time I see a square pizza and it sure looks delicious!! 😍
Definitely need to take you out for pizza!

Thanks for watching! Agree on the hot honey observation!
Hot Honey is not my thing on pizza. And I was surprised to learn it was created in Brooklyn. I always associated it with Detroit style pizza.
Thanks for watching, I kind of like the Hot Honey with more pepperoni. It's now an interesting condiment. Amy recommendations for a review?

Mike's hot honey is an interesting product that balances spicy. I think I want to test it in my tea.
Love me. Some NY pizza
Looking forward to some New Haven Pizza!
