    The amount of people in the comments blaming the Jews and basically parroting the Nazi idea of “judeo-Bolshevism” is kinda scary 😅

    • @sinnacalgamer9052
      @sinnacalgamer9052 Рік тому +9

      Well lenin was technically jewish himself (one quater) and formed the bolsheviks with some others (a few of them were also similar to him), so technically judeo-bolshevism isn't that incorrect of a notion, and blaming jews (while not being the best solution for who to blame) by that logic CAN (not should) be correct but that's a bit of a stretch since it was a group of people (some of whom were jewish at least partially) who convinced others to revolt with them, and not the entire race thinks that way or would do the things the bolsheviks did.
      That's essentially the logic that the Nazis and the others in the comments are using, which while not being the most agreeable way to put things isn't completely wrong with a partial bit of truth to it.
      (Not saying I agree with those things, this is just a bit of information)

    • @epicman4357

      @@sinnacalgamer9052 yeah that’s true but that’s also true about just about any group or party in Europe at the time, jews we’re just a sizable minority who you could find everywhere until the holocaust and then israel

    • @sinnacalgamer9052
      @sinnacalgamer9052 Рік тому +2

      @@epicman4357 Yeah I do agree with you there but you have to keep in mind that the highest concentration of Jews in Europe was in Russia, more specifically the Polish, Ukrainian, and Belarusian areas because of the Russian empire's policies. This also caused them to have a pretty major role in the civil war in relation to their numbers, since a lot of them were either in Poland when they split off and fought for them or fought with Makhno and his black guard in Ukraine, which worked with the bolsheviks for a period of time to get rid of the white army.

    The protesters were led by a renegade, twice married priest, Father George Gapon, who was hanged the next year after it was discovered that he was an Okhrana secret agent. Gapon had organized the riots with the objective of causing a clash with the Imperial Guard, according to the memoirs of Alexander Spiridovich and I. Pavlov. The historian Alexey Shilov records how Gapon urged rioters to break telephone poles, build barricades, and smash stores. The Menshevik Dinin records how Gapon wanted to carry out a revolution against the Tsar. Historian Artur Tokarev shows Gapon’s real motives in his book “Nicholas II, Truth and Lies: “If the King does not fulfill our demands, then we will destroy the entire Winter Palace”. Furthermore, Bolshevik revolutionaries were sharing fake pamphlets around that claimed that the Tsar wanted to meet his people outside of the palace (For example the Bolshevik Lydia Subbotina). The document that Gapon wanted to present to the Tsar wasn’t a peaceful reform document for the well-being of the nation, it was a revolutionary document that called for the destruction of the Russian monarchy and all that it stood for. Most workers protesting didn’t know this. The number of victims is a very controversial subject as well. Opposition media and revolutionaries lied about the number of victims. For example, Lenin is the source for the 4,600 deaths. In fact, the number of deaths was much lower. On January 22, newspapers stated that 130 people died and 299 were wounded. A February report by the Director of the Police Department, Aleksei Lopukhin, corroborated the number of casualties. The Bolshevik Nevsky put the death toll at around 150-200 people. Nicholas gave 50,000 rubles to the families of the victims.

      History teaches us that a fool will remain a fool who does not know how to analyze the study of events and why it happened, but will broadcast thoughts from the TV...oh, mean the Internet. As for totalitarianism, at least you would have searched from whom this term spread and would have discovered a lot of new things for yourself.For instanceit's such idiotic way of thinking that only 1 men can rule and all will obey him,Lenin had described it good "they are nice fellas("people will",left essers),but empty headed".And of course great warning that workers do not need their own state,let bourgeois have it and you gonna see how it's going to change,intresting that when Soviet union existed ,capitalists allowed some free space for workers now that it's gone there no more actual 8 hour working day and etc funny isn't it

    Cool video!
    However, I hate to be that guy but Aleksandr Ulyanov was not involved in the assassination of Alexander II in 1881 but in another plot to assassinate Alexander III in 1887.
    Fun fact: another guy involved in it was Bronisław Piłsudski, who got exiled to Sakhalin, where he became a researcher of Ainu culture (and also had kids with an Ainu woman). His younger brother also got exiled to Syberia by association. You might have heard about Józef Piłsudski.
    Also, there was quite a disturbance in the part of Poland under Russian imperial rule during the Revolution of 1905. The biggest was in Łódź. Here's a detailed video with English subtitles:

      It is not a suprise, to be honest. Jewish youth was in hard situation. On one side they had orthodox reactionary jewish community, which wanted to regulate their whole life with religion, on the other hand there was a new modern world with great science, technology, education but closed to jewish people since tzarish anti-semeticism. Russian liberals mostly ignored jewish question. The onle faction which openly supported equallity between all nations were ... socialists and bolshevics. Thus you have huge number of "judeo-bolchevics" :)

Btw saying Marx is Jewish is stretching the meaning as he was never raised Jewish nor was connected to Jewish community,his family converted to Christianity to assimilate and he saw himself as German who have Jewish ancestry(and he hated Jewish people ironically),Trotsky was Jewish and deliberately revolted against the Jewish tradition and hated it this is why he was internationalist.Those people were far from representing "Jewish" leftism,the Bund is more of an example of Socialists and Jewish.

    I found it interesting that you didn’t mention the fact that George Gapon ordered the robbery of a Church in order to give his so called "peaceful" procession a religious facade
    (Source: George Gapon, The Story of my Life, page 178)

  • @nikolaysokolnikov2677
    @nikolaysokolnikov2677 Рік тому

    The story of the Gapon march is a bit misleading in my opinion. First of all Gapon himself and some other leaders knew well that the Czar was not at the Palace but decided to move anyway, declaring that weather they will be listened or not they are going to achieve their goals regardless and okhranka knew that. Second, on the road from Putilov plant to Narva gates they robbed a church and stole banners (horugvies) and attacked several policemen. And finally even protesters themselves told they fired first. Although Gapon blamed provocateurs for this, the state had no choice at that point. What else could you do with an armed mob which made it clear about their intentions.
