@@thebordoshow I swore to mae my setting based on the most ancient European Myths, and Caucasian area seems to preserve the root and the source. Imagine having a cyclops without calling it cyclops.

One of them is Doriaskheveli or king Dorias who is the lord of all night creatures and those that dwell in caverns

You see, I'm trying to stay faithful to Ancient Europe in my game; ie= I made one of the Elven Nations to have a Scythian-like culture but with a way different behaviiour from Humans while having Human Scyths, and making different "bestiaries" for different regions helps a lot in worldbuilding.

We really lack any original sources and have tons of local variations of same stories
Dharma religions do not have the concept of a devil. I think we have to thank the Persians for his appearance. Nice video.

Asura was king of deva who drink all the time.He pulled down Asura a followers onto earth. When Asura woke up he think he is still. on Mount Meru ( Olumpus ). One day kapok forest where he lives is bloom. Then he realized he was pulled down to earth by Marcus. Then the war between deva and Asura went on till Marcus became son in law of Asura.

this video makes me think, we demonized asuras because we were pissed at Zoroastrians, which makes Zoroastrians coming to India amongst all place when they were massacred by Muslims particularly interesting.

There is a small community of Zoroastrians in Georgia too, even though we fought them off for centuries too
@@thebordoshow i think it could be because despite the fighting(mostly because of the roman and greek interferance)the long time the these people spent together had forged a sort of respectful rivelry if not a forgotten sense of kinship because of the half a millenia of georgia being Zoroastrians themselves, and sort of a same thing with indians, despite a few desputes iranians and indians were mostly trade partners for as long as the first persian empire or even older, the thing is that the relationships between nations has always been complicated, specially that iranians do share some blood with both nations, with georgians through cassites and with indians through aryans, lol my inner history nerd just woke up but overall i just love these little connections between nations its simply beautiful

It is such a great shame a fairly decent and interesting channel is constantly plagued by completely incorrect information from its viewers. For starters, Thief and Dieb are cognates. However, Greek Deus…isn’t even Greek! That’s Latin! And it’s from the indo-European word that Týr is from! (As well as Old English Tiw et al). Not related in the slightest! In regards to Div, I am unable to check that at the moment, though considering how incorrect you’ve been so far, I don’t have much faith in it. Deva isn’t Hindi! It’s Sanskrit, though it *is* cognate with Deus. All that said, your comment is horribly misleading to the uninformed.

Asura become Tura in italy and Arthur in English. in Buddhism Asura are diva who live near oceans. In polynesian story Asura ( tua ) are sprits who live on the mainland.
…Arthur comes from Latin Arthurus, coming from Welsh “arth,” meaning “bear.”
