  • Yonex Ezone 100 due to numerous requests from you Glads, here it is! By the way, if we’re not reviewing a racket that you see has been requested many times, we’re not ignoring your requests. It just means we can’t get our hands on one. Anyways, we got it and we LOVED it. Great combination of Yonex feel, incredible power, stability, and pretty decent feel. To see the more detailed review, watch the video till the end!!

    Been using the Ezone 100 racquet for 4-5 months now and I’m loving it! It gives me some much needed power on my ground strokes and I feel better controlling it than I did when I first got it. Also I like the color scheme so that’s a plus.

    Thank you for the review, nicely done :) I bought that racquet some weeks ago to replace my (more control-oriented) Dunlop Srixon CX 200 and I think it makes a job well. More user friendliness and power, but distributed and provided in the controllable way, as you've said.

    I had previously use the Babolat Pure Drive 100 and just switched to Ezone 100. Adjustment period was only 1 week cause i guess it has similar characteristics with the pure drive in terms of power and comfort. However, what makes this ezone the winner is how stable/very little vibration it has when receiving hard balls. And even though the ezone got tons of power, its still very well controlled especially paired with solinco hyper g soft at 53lbs

    I love watching your videos. You are by far the most entertaining reviewers but I feel that in the end all frames end up with a relatively similar score. Your words during the video make it seem like you loved this racquet but the score is about the same as most others youve reviewed.

    • @クリームイカ
      @クリームイカ 2 роки тому

      The score is one of the few downsides of this channel
      They are very skilled and strong players, literally can play well with most of the racquets

    • @jackiet9141
      @jackiet9141 2 роки тому

      i think it might be because they only test the racquet for a week or a couple sessions, i dont think they are actual racquet nerds, but more that they just review for the channel or views, which personally nothing wrong with that, but that's maybe why the scores are similar

    • @thomaskuhn6541

      You're right, love it or hate it, every racquet ends up with a average score of 8-8.5.

    • @gladiatorstribe
      @gladiatorstribe  2 роки тому +4

      Thank you very much! Really appreciate it! We try to be as objective as possible. If we put our subjective opinion based on preferences the scoring system would make no sense. I don't really like powerful rackets but putting a low score for a pure Drive on power would make no sense. Same with spin for example. In the end if you average the grade, that's what ends up happening. Looking at the overall score is not what you should be doing when choosing a racket. Simply because there is no best frame. You should rather look at the grades of things that you actually value in a racket and use our actual voiceover as a guideline. I'd say that's what would make the most sense.

    I switched to this racket from Babolat Pure Drive 2021. Babolat was like a crazy menace never new how the ball will go, whereas Ezone 100 is giving me enough control to bring the bombs just inside the court.
    Would not recommend to string this racket for power strings or low tension. I now play with Hyper G at 24/23 kgs. And would even consider get it a little bit higher at around w
    25-24.5 kgs. I used Tour Bite Soft on it once and it was super good. Any low power poly would work great with it. With power strings and low tension its too easy to over hit with it.
