Seeing as how this video has gotten quite a lot of attention, I want to ask you guys to give me some criticism, so I can improve myself in the future. If you have any criticisms, please feel free to reply to this comments. I'll edit it based on the feedback you guys give me. Current criticisms: * Certain segments (especially the coin segments) were too long). * Low pitched noise during flashbacks is quite odd. Echo/reverb works better. * Don't fade transitions of parts that happen in quick succession. * Less zoom during certain parts. * Certain parts that were messed up due to technical issues.
Hey, I really enjoyed the video and appreciate all the work you put into it, but I have a few suggestions. First off, I feel like the fading transitions should be avoided if the clips before and after aren't close enough to each other visually. By that I mean that it works pretty well during the class trials, thanks to the very similar setting and presentation any two clips taken during one will have, but not really in most other places. For example, even though 4:22 links two scenes that happened in relatively quick succession, the viewer can't instinctively tell because of how different both scenes look, and I feel like a simple cut would have worked better and felt less out of place. Second, the low pitched effect during flashbacks is really odd, I feel like some sort of echo or reverb would have worked better. I also think the transition in and out of flashbacks might be a little distracting, but that might be because I'm used to seeing a white flash instead. Third, at 5:56, I feel like the panning could have been a little bit faster (that might just be personal preference) and the zoom a little bit less extreme, because at least a third of the screen is rapidly bouncing up and down, which I found was a bit excessive and gave your eyes little place to rest. Fourth, I feel like the video might have been a bit too long and could have worked better if you made it into two 15 minutes parts. It would also allow you to release the first part sooner, and more people might have been interested in watching it a few weeks earlier. Lastly, to end on some positive, I really liked little details like switching Leon's name to 11037, they give your video a lot of personality without going off topic or getting in the way of watching the stream highlights video people come to see, so please do keep them if you make any other video of this style ! (I feel like the sonic 06 it's no use was a bit out of place but isn't distracting, so as long as you keep such references quick and sparse, I think they're fine)
The coin segments: When you have stuff like that, you could spread them more over the video. That could fix it. It doesn't need to be chronological. 4:15 - That was... a weird way to cut. 8:06 - I don't think using flashes every time that something pops up in the screen is good. 16:58 - People that hasn't watched the stream won't know why Joe is so mad here. 28:36 - Ups, one of the chat recordings got a bit messed up, we can see a WA conversation Appart from those few nitpicks, this was good all the time and fantastic at some points.

Little bit of criticism: I think the compilation bits (the coins, Mukuro Ikusaba, the masked guy scene, the big argument with chat) would've been funnier if they were faster and shorter. Based on other compilation videos I've seen, I think they should be less than 5 seconds.
Thank you for your feedback. Also, about the coin segment, would you have preferred it if I were to cut out all of Joe's reactions to the coins? I already did try to make each coin segment smaller as the video went on, but would you have preferred it if it were removed in its Entirety?
Timmytimmy123123 No, I think the coins are a joke that can work more than once. Though, since it is a repeating joke, making each coin segment about twice as fast as the previous one would probably be a good way to keep them from getting boring.
I didn't understand the 11037 thing because i thought "Surely it can't be as easy as turning it upside down". Then, my friend who also played it said "turn it upside down" and i freaked out and went "WTF they actually made it that easy?!?!?", then he explained how it was harder for Japanese people, and then i understood to never underestimate how easy and literal a investigation or class trial may be.
+TheBlueKnight EP [Spoiler] The gravel swimsuit. This suggests that the killer walked over to the glass tank, scooped up the gravel with her hand and put it inside of the swimsuit. If that really did happen, the killer would have scooped up the shards of glass as well, resulting in an injury. Also, if you did put gravel inside of that swimsuit in a hurry, some of the gravel would have fallen out of it and left a trail. Lastly, it would be highly likely that the gravel was wet. If you scooped that up and hit somebody with it, there would have been a puddle of water near the corpse.
I love how fast you figured out the culprit was Leon. It took me a minute then I went waait... turn it upside down and (FACEPALM) of course it’s too obvious.
To be fair, it's quite different in the Japanese version, since they wouldn't assume those numbers to be letters. Also, even if you were to figure out that 11037 was Leon, there was still no real way to figure out that he actually committed the crime or if somebody was framing him. Additionally, you would probably not have guessed that Sayaka was trying to kill Leon at first.
Timmytimmy123123 you’re right I didn’t... but when I put the other details together like the sleeve, broken glass ball, and who the most likely person she would’ve tried to dupe. It was obvious in hindsight. He’s a baseball jockey, she’s a B-list celebrity, imagine the scandal.
@@Timmytimmy123123 those things just aren’t relevant sorry 1- someone from Japan could still be able to know how an occidental writes names (so this game just has every character ignorant except Kirigiri and expect you to be ignorant as well) this is a very bad way to cover a mystery (Even considering Ace Attorney did it too multiple times and way better without ever smashing to your face an answer you need external knowledge to understand hoping you don’t have it) The bad thing is that this is purposely misleading because the characters treats the number like a super elaborate code. (Which would obviously be bullshit since she was stabbed just once and died quickly so couldn’t even think of a code) 2- it being a way to frame someone else (considering it was written upside down and in an occidental way is unlikely still....) isn’t even brought up (I thought about that too) however when you find that it could have been him you investigate and quickly and effortlessly the glass ball thing make sense and you find conclusive evidence in the screwdriver in Leon’s room (while everyone else’s including makoto’s were not even touched) so the mystery become very easy 3- Makoto finding out everything about the murderer is good for a character development and story progression thing but it’s not necessary to understand who’s the culprit (you just need to find the glass ball fragments, the broken door knob and Leon’s screwdriver alongside everyone else’s and you can demonstrate it’s him who did it.)
Thanks! I actually wanted to do a lot more things in regards to the audio, but it would end up being either too loud and ruin the 'subtleness' or it the segment would end up being too long because I needed to have proper build-up. I did still leave 2 audio segments in :-P
So I know it's old, but I just found out about this guy a little bit ago and I'll say it here. I notice that Joseph tends to not let the game explain its reasoning with the whome 10 PM to 7:30 AM segment. Just a little pet peeve of mine, but he is an interesting guy. I just dont quite understand why he does that.

I haven't seen the full playthrough on this, but since I am bad at reading human emotions, I seriously can't tell if Joe hates or likes this game. Or both.
@@timlampers930 But the problem i he stick to that and he is the annoying. xD He can't fucking see the leon thing was because of the translation. @@dudedude7846 Well, that shows the poor argument of this comunity, not all the people i guess but wao... It shows that you and they do not know how to differentiate or even recognize how Anime is and i am not a fan, but i can easy tell. And well, do not realize or study the characters. Sure Chihiro is soooo an exaggeration, but seriously, there is, also Maizono, Hagakure you could say that too, there are people like that, believe me... and a long etc (Obviously people like Junko, etc. they are not). And yes, a battle royale, very nice meme, but use it as an argument... no.
Well... it depends on how you look at it. The original intention for this picture was to make it look like Hifumi was being dragged by Yasuhiro. So, obviously this picture would make it look like Joe's sanity is being dragged away by this game. However, upon reading your comment, it does actually work both ways. If you consider the fact that Joe's sanity is carrying the game on it's back, it does make sense as well. This is due to the fact that this game has some questionable moments, but Joe does manage to point them out due to his sanity (well... it doesn't really work for 11037 and sprinklergate, as he has clearly lost his sanity during those parts). If you want the original reason for why I chose this thumbnail, though: It is just because the previous thumbnail looked too much like the one from K Mikilani's video, and I didn't want to confuse people. And I just thought that this moment in the video looked like a funny picture to put in the thumbnail.

The gravel swimsuit.

17:14 murdered him omg
@@Timmytimmy123123 those things just aren’t relevant sorry
1- someone from Japan could still be able to know how an occidental writes names (so this game just has every character ignorant except Kirigiri and expect you to be ignorant as well) this is a very bad way to cover a mystery
(Even considering Ace Attorney did it too multiple times and way better without ever smashing to your face an answer you need external knowledge to understand hoping you don’t have it)
The bad thing is that this is purposely misleading because the characters treats the number like a super elaborate code. (Which would obviously be bullshit since she was stabbed just once and died quickly so couldn’t even think of a code)
2- it being a way to frame someone else (considering it was written upside down and in an occidental way is unlikely still....) isn’t even brought up (I thought about that too) however when you find that it could have been him you investigate and quickly and effortlessly the glass ball thing make sense and you find conclusive evidence in the screwdriver in Leon’s room (while everyone else’s including makoto’s were not even touched) so the mystery become very easy
3- Makoto finding out everything about the murderer is good for a character development and story progression thing but it’s not necessary to understand who’s the culprit (you just need to find the glass ball fragments, the broken door knob and Leon’s screwdriver alongside everyone else’s and you can demonstrate it’s him who did it.)

*NO THAT'S WRONG*
What if Joe's sanity was actually the one carrying this game ?
*(plays class trial solar edition)*
All the small little things that you put in make this video so much better
Thanks! I actually wanted to do a lot more things in regards to the audio, but it would end up being either too loud and ruin the 'subtleness' or it the segment would end up being too long because I needed to have proper build-up. I did still leave 2 audio segments in :-P
He just called hiro Danny the whole game
So I know it's old, but I just found out about this guy a little bit ago and I'll say it here.
I notice that Joseph tends to not let the game explain its reasoning with the whome 10 PM to 7:30 AM segment. Not just this game but in any game when he deems something doesnt make sense, he gets angry at it and refuses to hear an explanation of the game.
Just a little pet peeve of mine, but he is an interesting guy. I just dont quite understand why he does that.
He's an arrogant pussy.
i hate this dude for many reasons and wish he'd stop showing up in my fucking recommended

Hey everybody. I'm currently making a compilation for Joe playing Danganronpa 2. If you guys want to see some 'early access' videos so you can give me feedback, I'll post them here.

Also I love how he started hysterically laughing at 30:15
I like to think that Joe is becoming more and more an anime gamer. Since Xenoblade, you can see his gears turning.

3:56 well damn now I feel stupid...
This is like watching a hero's origin story. Joe was never the same after Danganronpa
With how most people shit on Hagakure for being stupid and useless, I'm glad to finally see someone who appreciates him as much as I do.
Me too. I was actually hoping for a character like him in the other games. Well... I'll guess that Gundham and Himiko
He notices the 1107 as Leon so easily-
how would you not tho
29:18 Yasuhiro plays Dangan ronpa and got the bad ending confirmed
Okay but actually "who's nickname is Noel" is literally what I did. Except I wasn't joking I was actually confused 😂
it went to "hey aoi" to "hey yaoi"
I had never seen ANYONE get that ending before and I absolutely lost it! Poor Hina!! XD
Very nice touch, editing Leon's name to fucking 11037
Haha, I actually had a couple of other scenes where Leon's name was replaced with 11037, but I had to scrap them because I didn't want to spend too much time on the 11037 thing ;-(.

I haven't seen the full playthrough on this, but since I am bad at reading human emotions, I seriously can't tell if Joe hates or likes this game. Or both.
He likes the game, but he does find some parts of the story really annoying.
Tim Lampers *mm... I’m annoyed.*
@@timlampers930
But the problem i he stick to that and he is the annoying. xD
He can't fucking see the leon thing was because of the translation. But still, is okay... *but* he gets mad because the time and water of trial 5 and whatever small thing who really is stupid. He can't see he's wrog. Again, the leon thing is okay but he don't see the translation. He take the game and characters like a joke and not one time, almost every second he put hate and more hate.
Then again, what i see are clips but because of the comments and his comunity... Better if i don't see how he play.
@@shiro7220 This is an anime battle Royal it's definitely ok to take as a joke. Most of the characters are exaggerations anyway
@@dudedude7846
Well, that shows the poor argument of this comunity, not all the people i guess but wao...
And yes, a battle royale, very nice meme, but use it as an argument... no.
i love how all he cares about is the coins LMAO
HERE COMES THE MONEY!
11:53 “I could never get this stuff”
It’s a fursuit, isn’t it?
So according to the thumbnail, Joe's sanity is carrying the game?
Well... it depends on how you look at it.
@@Timmytimmy123123 Didn't expect an essay but that's fine with me man. I was joking, but still, it does make sense the way you put it. I really don't care what thumbnail you put, do whatever you want 👍🏼.
His predictions are completely accurate... like 30% of the time.
