The bit where Dan finishes Nagito's "take a deep breath" with "of this deadly poison" has to be my favorite accidental prediction of this whole game. That is an *incredible* coincidence.
I don't know, I think I prefer this tidbit from DR1 Dan: Yeah, there's a lot of like "I can't believe this is happening." Well, I can! This is day 7 of this! Arin: The game primed us pretty well for... Dan: Believing in this, yeah? Dan: *If Pac-Man showed up, I would find that hard to believe.*
my favorite of them predicting events within the game (as in, not predicting stuff that happens in later games) is when they see nagito's body and dan IMMEDIATELY says "i think it was a suicide", cracks me up every time
the only other addition i'd make to this amazing video is when nagito's body was revealed and it looked all fucked up and then dan jokingly said "i think it was a suicide!" ..and then it essentially was a suicide

They might also be considered posthumously criminally liable for causing the manslaughter, which _might_ result in fines levied against their estate.

@@LordSenile No, they found two files that said that the Future Foundation had made contact with some survivors of Hope's Peak and another that said they had captured the Remnants of Despair. It's up to the player to realise that both of those things refer to the main cast.

They were confused about whether the "remnants of despair" and "ultimate despairs" referred to the same group. Combined with the hints given in the emails, Arin thought that the "remnants" referred to the survivors and the "ultimates" referred to the Junko followers (which is technically correct, kinda) The only difference from the "ultimate despairs" is that the "remnants of despair" is missing Junko.
If anything, it's technically the right hand. Nagito hates Junko, as she stands for everything he hates. In the program he always looks at the hand that's actually his in the real world. That can be interpreted as him having a subconscious fondness for what could be considered his "hope hand."
I feel like a lot of this is less "they can see the future" and more "they have basic observational skills". Which, granted, is still quite remarkable coming from these two
Fun fact, if you go back to the first Danganronpa there's a bit near the end of the playthrough where they joked about suddenly changing Makoto's voice for no reason... and for the bit, Arin switched into exactly the voice he later ended up using for Nagito. Which is doubly hilarious considering the two of them share voice actors in English AND Japanese. Also, another fun fact, their Japanese voice............... Ogata Megumi........................... was also Yugi in season zero.

Another prediction is at 4:45 where Arin says Teruteru put mind altering drugs in his food. In Danganronpa 3 (the despair arc) Hiyoko puts an aphrodisiac into one of his dishes that the entire class eats
I know people like to get mad and accuse Arin of knowing spoilers or reading ahead on purpose... but I wasn't in the room where it happened, and I SINCERELY will never be able to tell or have evidence for this. I personally always give him the benefit of the doubt, because that's how I enjoy things without getting salty. And ofc Dan is our reliable clairvoyant
I think he has a list of dialog choices without context, or something like that. His reactions usually seem fairly genuine, and a lot of the twists in these games aren't so much telegraphed as they are projected onto the surface of the moon.

Well, I went into Danganronpa 2 knowing Chiaki was the traitor, so I guess there’s no harm in going into Danganronpa 3 knowing the POV character is going to die.
To be perfectly honest, once they played as Nagito and Dan wondered if Hajime was going to die, I knew that they were going to implement that somehow. It's such a Danganronpa style of subversion.

I love how there's two kinds of predictions in this video: 1) the grumps making logical predictions based on videogame logic and/or the events of the first game, and 2) tossing out random horseshit that bullseyes a future plot point because Danganronpa is a ridiculous franchise.

I know people like to get mad and accuse Arin of knowing spoilers or reading ahead on purpose... but I wasn't in the room where it happened, and I SINCERELY will never be able to tell or have evidence for this. I personally always give him the benefit of the doubt, because that's how I enjoy things without getting salty.

I think he has a list of dialog choices without context, or something like that. His reactions usually seem fairly genuine, and a lot of the twists in these games aren't so much telegraphed as they are projected onto the surface of the moon.

@@MNeko This is why the golden rule to danganronpa is to avoid the community like the plague until you've finished the first 3 games yourself. You'd still get spoilers, but its always the spoilers from these 3 games that are the most detrimental.

Well, I went into Danganronpa 2 knowing Chiaki was the traitor, so I guess there’s no harm in going into Danganronpa 3 knowing the POV character is going to die.
To be perfectly honest, once they played as Nagito and Dan wondered if Hajime was going to die, I knew that they were going to implement that somehow. It's such a Danganronpa style of subversion.
