    Hey guys, my coughing today went down substantially, which made me try to get this episode of sub's choice done :) The Yak-9UT is featured today, requested by Anton S, and easily won the last episode. Hope you enjoy! And make sure to leave me your new requests, and we'll see who wins the feature for the next episode :) Have a great day!

      There are also 2 moments with 45mm. It has a relatively huge ricochet angle and long detonation range. So shooting into the wings especially from behind may give no good results.

    Could we perhaps see some Ki-84 gameplay? I haven't seen much of the higher tier Japanese planes on UA-cam recently. Probably due to the repair costs

    37 mm is the only way to go, on this plane. Twin 20 mm when you run out of 37 mm--is quite nice.

    Love the yak fridge launchers!! Sometimes you spray and miss, but sometimes that single shot connects, and oh boy that's a great feeling when that happens

    Best recovering, Jengar! For you and your family!
    This plane, and most USSR planes, annoy me with this low ammo! And those high caliber guns are pretty hard to hit!

    • @areaofdefect907
      @areaofdefect907 3 роки тому

      I believe that refers to when neither plane is using WEP which is more of a reflection on how important WEP is for the 335 than the Yak-9UT being overpowered or anything.

    Yeah the large caliber guns usually need to be shot with 1-2 round bursts max. So nice you get to choose what gun to use with this airplane.

    My grey beauty... Thanks a lot for this bird review! One of few planes I can face griffons and Ki 84..
    As you say, 23 mm setup is the best one with no doubt.
    Beside others, I really enjoy your headons :) Tricky part for most players. GJ

    Did you know, when you switch weapon setup, you should check that the "new 45mm cannon" module is applied? You have to do that manually in the hangar or you will play with the stock parameters.

    Hello Jengar, watched this video with enthusiasm today and a lot seems easy, but unfortunately the reality is different. At first I did not have this model of the Yak, but all of the previous aircraft and I thought to myself that my Yak 9 k (BR 4.0) was not yet removed, so give it a try, even though they are two different aircraft. I have to admit that I am not a very good pilot, but as is the case in the second battle I did a head-to-head attack and that went right after my 45mm cannon fired the third time. But after that came hell and it was only in the 7th and 12th battle that I was able to record another shot and now it is soon expanded which was a hard job. So much for my story!
    Well, my dear Jengar, I watch your videos very often and very much, because I learn a lot from them myself, only you could please (!) If you are going to present a plane beforehand 1) whether the pilot is very trained 2 ) whether the plane is expanded, because many here look at it and think, AHHHHH that is totally easy and you just have to sit in it and the planes fall from the sky by themselves. But that wasn't the case with me. Getting to the height of 4500 m was an experience with the Yak 9 K and some targets were shot down when I was at their height.
    I hope you do not get it wrong and I can continue to enjoy your videos, because I am very pleased that we have someone who explains this in such detail. Thank you very much, dear Jengar, for the very good work you are doing here. Keep it up !!!
    Greetings from hot Spain

    I love this plane, but idk how it can be at 5,7 br with the yak3 vk107. I think the yak3 should be 6.0, but, if Gaijin thinks that the yak3 is ok at 5,7, the yak9 ut should be 5,3.
    There’s too much difference in performance

    reason why it's not much faster with wep is it overheats quite a bit so you have to open the radiators a lot more

      @@jengar6258 I put all in keypad, to not mess other key bindings. I also tied radiator and oil in the same key set: 1 to toggle on/off, 7 to open and 4 to close.
      The minus key toggle MEC on/off.

    How about the Spitfire F mk24? Does it deserve the 6.7? BR looks scary to me, not sure if I should open it at all.

    • @reminiscently9179
      @reminiscently9179 5 років тому

      It's the best prop in the game but it forced to fly against jets almost every game, a while ago on hakkaidp it would be Britain vs US, and it was all props, that's when everyone flew the mk 24, but now you'll rarely see it, I personally think it should be at a lower br so it can go back to competing with props, maybe a 6.3 and the mk 22 a 6.0

    Hell yeah that means no grinding!
    Im still gonna try the 37, its really good ont the Yak-9t and has served me very well, something i cant say about the 45mm

    I'm not done spading this plane yet, but I wonder: What is the actual difference to the Yak-9P? Only the 45mm-setup? They do have the same engine. Are they otherwise identical well? (Why the BR-rise though?)

    • @davides.8663
      @davides.8663 4 роки тому

      Yak-9P is more heavy (not so much) and a little more hard to control at low speed, but have an higher rip speed (around 770 km/h) meanwhile the 9UT rip wings at 700 km/h ~.
      The Yak-9P can even sustain more damage because is made of steel, the 9UT is not
