While packing up for an upcoming move, I found a packet of old photos from the 1980s featuring some of your favorite stars from the 1980s. These have never been seen in public before.
Which was your favorite photo from this batch? Please let me know in the comments.

Actual photographs are the best.
Abvsolutely 👍🏻
Amazing that you found all these photos! Strange that someone parted with them though. What a lucky find.
Thanks for sharing these with us Dean 👍👍
Yeah, I'm not sure why someone would have got rid of them all those years ago, but it was certainly my gain. 👍🏻
Sweet Photo Collection! I kept up with guessing the year for maybe three of them, but I defer to your superior Stage-wear knowledge Dean!
Pack those securely Dude! & All the Best! :)
Thanks Ben 👍🏻
Pretty cool photos Dean! Thanks for sharing these. What a throwback
You're welcome. I just can't believe that I've been sitting on these and totally forgot I had them.
Great re-find! I love when that happens.
@@MoparMcNeer Absolutely 👍🏻

I hear Dean is Big In Japan 😀 And... He's Got the Look. Plus he has those Blue Suede Shoes! 😍

👍🏻
That James Hetfield pic is likely before Metallica’s Load album when they all cut their hair and Jason Newstead started to see the light after Reload.
Yeah, I think it's from the late 90s. Possibly around the time they did the I Disappear single.
Analog photographs, a blast from the past! Indeed printed photographs have a different ‘feel’ to them. Many of the pictures you showed probably took spesialised camera gear to make, develop, etc. As much as I like the nostalgia around analog photography, I was more than happy when during my time as an arts student, digital cameras became available. The time of chemically developing film in the basement of my parents house was replaced by a computer. I never had photographs of bands or artists besides in books. What I do own is a movie frame (used in a cinema) of the skyway scene in Back To The Future 2. Love that thing so much, it also contains an analog audio track on the side of the image. If there would be one band I would like to have an analog photo of it would be Kraftwerk. Big fan of their stage performances, especially with the Robots. Have a nice weekend sir!
While digital photos are extremely convenient, I do like the idea of pulling out a packet of old photos and looking through them. Scrolling through a computer (or phone) screen just doesn't have the same magic.
@@AllThings80sMichael Dorn was in C.H.i.P.s.....he played the part of a california Highway Patrol police car driver.
the Analogue Optical Audio strip on film fascinates me! -it's like the projector can 'see sound!' Nice Find Sva! :)
Indeed that optical audio strip blew my mind too. Being able to 'see' sound, that 'sounds' psychedelic😆

Levar Burton had a beard for a short time during The Next Generation's sixth season (1992-1993).
👍🏻
Did you work Live Aid?
Did you actually watch the video? I explained that I bought those photos in 2001. Furthermore, I was 11 years old in ‘85!
The LeBon squeak was deeply unfortunate 😂
The squeak that was heard by 1.5 Billion people.....LOL
So cool Dean 😎
Nothing as good to evoke memories and emotions, moments captured in time, actual printed photographs just can’t be beaten imo, great to have a stacked photo album on your personal device yet still no comparison for me,my girlfriend has a subscription with some crowd for 8€ per month which allows for 60 photos per month to be printed and delivered from device to doorstep, top service we use a lot, thanks for sharing amigo 🫡😎
That's awesome. There's nothing better than an actual printed photograph.
