ive had a few of these now, the head after a while slips out of locked position, have sent it back to makita a number of times and they don't know how to fix it. after 3 times being sent back still with the fault they sent me a replacement unit and after 8 months thats doing the exact same thing so its clearly a manufacturing fault. other than that they are good but the fault makes them almost useless as 1 slip and you've taken the top out of a hedge or a bush you didn't want to

After having it for awhile now I can say it’s pretty excellent.
I bought the 36V DUX60 with the tip on clearance for $269. Expensive but worth it!
