  • JUST UNBOXED THIS GREAT MAKITA ACCESSORY. THIS TOOL IS VERY WELL MADE. HAVE NOT USED IT JUST YET BUT HAVE USED THE MUCH SMALLER HEDGER TRIMMER. THIS ONE ATTACHES TO THE WEED EATER THAT I BOUGHT A FEW WEEKS AGO.
THE UNIT IS VERY WELL CONSTRUCTED OF ALL DIE CAST METAL. IT LOOKS TO BE A LIFE TIME TOOL FOR ME.
THE EXTENSION POLE WILL GIVE ME A REACH OF ABOUT 12 - 13 FEET WITH OUT A LADDER . IT WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO CUT THE WEEDS THAT CURRENTLY LIVE ON MY HILL. WILL GET A VIDEO OF THIS OPERATION.
THANKS FOR LOOKING PLEASE DO SUBSCRIBE , LIKE AND SHARE.

Mine came in today. Was getting dark. Useless users manual. Your video showed me how to Move the head. I bought it for 3 of my customers tall bushes that require a latter. I was planning on doing some lake shore stuff that requires my weed eater with a blade. This will knock it out in a hurry. I also have the Makita 18volt hedger that retired my gas hedgers. This is my first coupler for my 36 volt weed eater. Thanks again.

Beware the DUX60 head with 2 x 6AMP batteries and this EN401MP attachment are very heavy! I had to trim about 20-25m long hedge (only one side and top) and my hands were already falling off half way through it hence had to look for the strap as otherwise would not be able to finish. You really have to had very strong hands or use strap from the start. I had to use a corded cheap hedge trimmer because about 85% into the job my 5 year old batteries finished. Apart from that the combo is superb quality and performance! However, I might just get the slightly lighter EN410MP for trimming sides or another dedicated lighter corded trimer and keep the EN401MP for trimming hedge tops and anything that would normally require a ladder.

I like this unit with one battery . I do have a large variety of battery's from other Matika tools that have been used for 20 years plus. this one is heavy enough using just one battery . I'm going to stick with this one.
Today just did the remainder of the hill shown in my video with one battery and minimal effort. thanks for the comment.
