When she put on the second dress I said out loud 'WOW! vintage Hollywood glamour'. She looked stunning!!! It was nothing like a nightie, and this is coming from someone who hates chemises and slip skirts as outerwear 🤷♀️

To the one girl, it's 'I hope the dress is cheap enough to buy my bride's maid dress.' A really nice one I sense. Why do brides have to bring so many 'friends' with them? It's her choice. Not theirs.
I actually liked the second dress. She looked stunning and it didn't look like no pajamas but anywho the first dress looked nice on her and within budget so it was a win win for her.

Question: did the entourage really like the first dress, or did they like the price, leaving more money in the budget to spend on their dresses which the MOH virtually stated? The moral of the story is if your budget is tight, and you are paying for the bridesmaid's dresses don't take them bridal gown shopping, because self-interest can play too strong a role. Honesty is always welcome when seeking advice, but IMO brutal honesty is never acceptable whether it is sought or not.
The bride of honour shot down the second dress because she wanted more money for her dress.
The second dress was made for her. Classic and elegant. I can only imagine that it was unrecognized jealousy that caused them to deny what was the best dress for her.

I’m convinced that David Emmanuel only asks “what does your man do?” so he can figure out whether the fiancé makes enough to pressure the bride into upping the budget… 😒

The second dress was the vintage glam she wanted and she looked beautiful with the perfect figure for it, but she looked very uncomfortable and stiff walking in it. She looked just as beautiful in the first dress with a princess vibe, and I think she will have a better time at her reception dancing in that dress.
I loved the second dress on her. She looked stunning. How ever the first dress she looked very comfortable and happy in it.
It's not the brides responsibility to buy the maid of honor dress.

Though the 2nd dress was stunning, she didn't look comfortable moving in it. Honestly, I couldn't see her dancing, eating and enjoying herself in it.

What people don't get is that it's not about what flattens you best, but how you feel. I agree, the second dress looked so much better, she was looking soooo pretty, but the bride's face just brighten with happiness in the first dress. The second one is more flattering, but the first one is the one she loves and make her feel pretty, so that's it

I liked the 2nd dress except for it being too tight. My dress was $50 in a sale. Had 12 happy years together before my darling husband died January 2022

In England, most of the time the bride pays for the bridesmaid’s dresses. So, the comment doesn’t seem rude to me.
@@JodiLeaSnakeQueen it was at the beginning when they told the price of the first dress. I was thinking the same thing… if you see your friend is struggling with money you need to come up with the money for your own dress.

Why are videos nowadays always "brutally honest"? Is "brutally honest" more honest than "honest"? If so, then that means "honest" is not honest at all.
Brutally honest is honest without tact, and therefore often rude.

Not everybody wants to look like Marilyn Monroe on their wedding day. I did not like the satin dress at all.... She felt more like a bride in the other one.
they liked the first dress bc it would give them room in the budget for nice bridesmaid dresses. of course it’s nice to get a more affordable dress, but i feel like they were overly critical in order to sway her decision

I feel like no one liked the second dress because she looks so great in it 😭 Jealous family members are the worst. If they were supportive she would’ve loved it I bet.
They are not family members, they are friends !! And they are supportive for the one they thought look nicer on her. It is a show they put on music and do the whole thing to make it look dramatic, but there was nothing really rude or abusive about it.

The first one is very beautiful and I like it the best on her. While the second one was a very nice dress it was just too plain and boring and it just didn’t make her shine. It’s looked fine on her but it wasn’t anything special.

I usually don’t comment very much, she looked lovely in both gowns. The second one, for me was not bridal enough, but if the bride liked it, she should have picked it. Your entourage should be there for support, not to put down. The bride should ultimately decide what she wants, regardless of what anyone else says or wants ❤❤❤❤

I love all these bridal programmes but I'm confused about the amount of expectation with the dress. The groom has seen you "warts and all" . The money is an enormous factor for most average people. Whats it all about??

I see theses shows & know there are far more other types of dresses & amazes me how they only choose from 3-4 dresses when there’s multiple styles & embellishments available & like they just settle. I’ve seen many other shows where women say they really didn’t like the original dress & go back to shopping for something they saw somewhere in another bride or in a magazine to replace the original dress they ended up not liking! Money down the drain! 😢
I personally tried on about 50 dresses 🤷♀️ I don't understand how they decide between so few choices either. You only get to try on all those amazing gowns once so why not take your time picking the right one?
I totally agree. These shops seems to limit the bride to trying on a couple of dresses only, at maximum three dresses. It would be nice to try on a few more than that

Both dresses were stunning on this beautiful bride. The second one made her look like a hot bombshell, but it was too stark white all over without a delicate statement piece in the front. It was gorgeous to me though. Wish the friends wouldn't been a little more supportive about how beautiful she looked in it because she seemed a little deflated by their comments and turned up frowns. You never want your friend/family (Bride) to not have a super exciting time trying on gowns they totally slayyed in.
