- Cab view part 2 of the Ōito line from Hotaka Station to Minami-Omachi Station.
I wanted to go one step further north to Shinano-Omachi Station, but one of the staff members riding in the cab ended up standing in front of the camera on the last section, so I ended the cab view at Minami-Omachi Station. is.

The distance traveled this time was 23.2km. The atmosphere of the route is the same as in Part 1, with the mountain range of the Northern Alps continuing on the left. Shinano-Omachi Station, the last stop this time, is a town that is a base for sightseeing and mountain climbing. Although we cannot see the mountain range from the front of the station, it has an idyllic atmosphere.

アクセスありがとうございます。大糸線の前面展望パート２、穂高駅から南大町駅までです。本来は信濃大町駅まで行きたかったのですが、南大町駅からは運転室内に添乗の方があり、前面展望は南松本までとなりました。
運転室内の機器などを避けるため、ややズームの比率が高いことをご承知おき下さい。また前面の窓が少し汚れていますが、こちらもご了承のほどを。
この区間でも進行方向の左手に北アルプス（後ろ立山連峰）の山並みが続いています。春は大糸線がもっとも美しく見える季節です。

Thank you for another excellent production. I enjoyed both parts of this line. In particular, I was happy to see the rice paddies on both sides of the track. But what captivated me was the snow capped mountain range. That was very fascinating and I thoroughly enjoyed that view.

Thank you for your comment. Phoenix? I've never been to Arizona, but I went to Las Vegas once. I didn't gamble. Probably because I'll lose. As soon as I left the city, there was a desert. Amtrak trains looked like ships sailing across the ocean.
As you have already noticed: every time you travel by train there is something different and new to discover... 😊
The weather was very windy in this section as you could tell from the grass and trees blowing strongly in the wind! So it was certainly good to film from the inside and not from the outside in sections because of the wind noise...
Typical for me as a non-Japanese are the electrical cables for houses and street lighting that are laid above ground on poles: I wonder why they haven't been laid underground long ago - especially in a country with a lot of earthquakes like Japan... 🤔 but it certainly has also something to do with the long history of your country!
And there are apparently also female train fans: in one of the last stops she stood on the platform filming with a smartphone - and then there were a few men to the left of the train track, who with a tripod and camera controlled the train against the fantastic backdrop of the snow-covered mountains wanted to take photos... 😊
This ride turned out to be really nice again, even though unfortunately it didn't quite make it to the end point... Thank you for taking us along on this journey in film 🙏👍
Wind noise is difficult to detect in the field. How much dirt on the window will be reflected in this photo? This is a common problem with this issue. Well, I'm just continuing to take pictures while enjoying my trip.
@@14ikesan12Did I write something about the dirty windows??? 🤔 I can’t remember but maybe the translation software understood something wrong. My english is not so good that I can speak, write or understand everything perfect - so I sometimes use the help of „Google Translator“ ☺️
With this software it would also be possible to write you in japanese language - but after that I cannot check if the app did everything right 🫤
So - don’t worry about dirty windows: the journey and wonderful view is worth it 👍 And maxbe it would look strange if you had tried to clean the window in front of the train driving crew 😄

@@wandajackson3410 Thank you for your polite reply. Your comment makes me feel at ease. My native language is Japanese, and I rarely use English conversation in my daily life. I only occasionally provide directions for travelers. Therefore, translation software is essential.
However, whether it's online or when traveling in person, there will always be inadequacies in communication due to language differences, and in my opinion, that's part of the fun of traveling. That experience makes life more valuable.
