Wow it looks great! No more brown patches where grass can’t grow. A friend in TX is getting hers done costing over $16k for her 1100sq ft yard. Awesome job!
I have seen some installs by the “pro” that are good and also very bad so the quality depends on the work you put into it. If you take your time and do a project correctly it will last a long time and be less work in the long run if you have to keep fixing it
Thank you. Yes! It was really hot the whole time and I was out there most of the day. Digging is tough and you have to admire the landscaper pros out there doing it everyday.
Thanks. I got the Boise premium 65 from Home Depot it’s $3.33/ft2 when I bought it. Or a little under $50 per linear foot and it comes in 15’ wide. It was about $1500 and then I spent another $500-600 in install materials. The wife likes it and says it looks like it should be in a magazine cover lol so that’s the most important opinion. A few friends have asked me to help them install since they like it … will see how much they are willing to pay.
I do too most times, but sometimes with shady and other features, grass doesn’t grow well. Also the grass clippings make a mess in the pool. I was very surprised how far artificial turf has improved. There is brown blades intertwined in the base to look like dead grass.

Thank you. I’m glad to see UA-cam isn’t all just angry Internet trolls. Wow that’s expensive, glad I saved a lot of $$$
Great video. Appreciate the honesty about how much work it is. Some videos make it seem overly simple.

Nice work my friend! That looked like a lot of work. Thanks for show the steps

Love it. Looks great on the details
Thank you. The small details take forever but patience makes a big difference in the quality
Beautiful work
Thank you. It was a lot of work.
Looks good bro. More practical for people who have kids. How much in total does it cost and what’s the reaction of people who saw this in person?

no mowing but looks awful and cheap
Thanks for watching anyways ;). Turf has come a long way and in small sections it looks nice.
I prefer grass over plastic
