How to know if your engine is good and healthy. 2005 sti engine problems ( rod knock?)

Sad to hear this 2005 sti with problems, looks to be like the famous rod knock with the subies. Hope we find something worth doing or just swapping it out or rebuilding. Sell or keep ? $$$$$$$$$ hope this helps anyone looking on doing this test, subscribe if you aren't already for more videos. I will be uploading and recording more.
