Sounds like a sunspot huskies are prone to them because of moisture under there skin steroid creme should help it and keep it dry

Bless his heart. He’s so sweet. He reminds me of my Pug Maggie Mae whom died a couple months ago of heart disease. We were never separated the whole 12 years I had her. Not one night apart. I hope his leg gets well soon. Give him a sweet kissy.
Awww Key is so well looked after! Harlowe as a Cocker Spaniel gets quite a few of these warty growths. It is common for cockers as they age. We keep them clean and if she wants to nibble or lick, we put a little tiny dab of Apple Cider Vinegar (Make sure it is Organic from the Mother) and that soothes the itch and tastes bitter and yucky if she licks or nibbles.
I'm glad Key is alright. Hopefully he can resist nibbling until it's all healed up.

My 12 year old has several of those warts. They don't hurt but they lick at it and keep it irritated. She is always licking hers. I know what you are going through.

My dog's lump was Mast Cell tumor cancer. 😢 He was so much fun, too. Miss him so much. Some cancers spread like fire. Precious dog. Very lucky dog.

My female Husky "Sukie" had a similar lump occur when she was 11. Vet said same it was was a wort lump. By the time she was 14 it was a significant lump which was causing major licking problems. Lump was removed, and biopsy said it was a keratin based cyst and not cancerous. She is now 17 and showing no further signs of same problems, just a bit of hip arthritis.
My advice is get it removed now whilst he is young enough to not be a worry with anaesthetic as we had with Sukie.
