Key doesn't like the thought of sharing his hooman mum's affections. But one have to admit that meower is so CUTE and FLUFFY. 🥰
Chip reminds me of a few of my extroverted cats that have gone to visit the neighbours in the past. Usually cats are very wary of people who aren't their hoomans. It always made me worry whenever my Leo disappeared to the neighbours, but he killed all the rats and mice that infested their garden and he was super friendly and patient with neighbours' children. He's been gone now for nearly three years. When the neighbour children found out that he wasn't going to be coming around for visits anymore, they were heartbroken- but they quickly grew enamoured with Nico. He plays tag and hide and seek with the children, lol.
Chip is talkative as well. 😂❤

I totally have the same problem but in reverse. I receive the same looks of betrayal from my cat if I pet a woof woof as my cat Cosmo refers to dogs as.😂
That cat looks a lot like my niece's cat Jameson. He was a rescue that showed up at my door one morning around 2 am (I live out in the desert in AZ). He had been mauled by dogs (and the vet thought also coyotes). My niece adopted him after I got all of his treatments done and etc. Now he is a big boy living the best life (of course as an indoor cat)

Tabby is just their coat pattern. There is no specific breed for tabbies, as most breeds can have tabby markings 😊
We get visited by a neighbours meower, it comes for snacks and loves to be petted, I made the mistake the other day as he rolled on his back to stroke his belly.....you have never heard so much screaming from me as my wife tried to prize his claws from my arm.....brave Saddad 😢😢

My daughter just got a chatty cat. My dog is SO jealous. She ruled the roost till the smacking meowser came. She goes off and pouts too. She knows I love it when she smiles, so if I pet the meowser, she gets in my face and smiles so big. She just heard your cat and is now up in my face. 🤣

I know the feeling of neighborhood meowers coming into the yard. My dog didn't care for them but as he got older and couldn't give chase now many meowers come in and out of the yard. And while the young kitties want to meet the meowers the big cats give chase as their big old puppy taught them.

Whether we you realize or not, you now have Chip, the cat. She has adopted you and been in your workshop. He likes you very much. Looks like Key may get a once removed brother. I don't know.
