In the newer version 4, it looks like the janky LFO MOD button has been replaced with a visible Mod Wheel hardwired into the LFO which does activate right from 0% rather than 50% (they must have listened to your constructive criticism). However, no LFO MOD Rise Time knob in the newer version's Performance Control panel, it can only be delayed through the LFO's delay time in the LFO panel.
