Hey Michael, I'm getting ready to retire this summer and am considering buying a Raptor XL or more likely a "Raptor XD". I'm in agreement that the ZT transmissions would benefit from a reserve tank and need larger batteries. I wasn't aware that changing the oil in the ZT trannies should require bleeding to complete the oil changes and hope you could cover that aspect with a video when you get to that particular maintenance chore. I'd also like to know the right way to burn in the clutch. Looking forward to more of your vids because of how you make the modifications that you want on your machine and how to recognize where the bumps in the road are that you encounter as you do your trial & error of your mods. You do a pretty good job of telling/showing What, How, Where, Why & relating what is a relative success or failure as you go. I would expect that'll save me some time money and know what works and what doesn't work when I get started. Thanks

I did not know you got a new mower, I still have my 2017 SDX I now have 325 hours. That looks like a nice mower.

I like the covers on the seat springs. Are those OEM or did you add those? Thanks

I just purchased this mower today, picking it up tomorrow 🙂 is it possible to put a bigger battery in it? maybe make a larger frame for another battery?

Yes I think that possible you need to do some modifications to make a new battery frame to hold a larger battery . That’s the reason I haven’t done it, I decided to keep the small battery for now. Thanks for watching Darren

The lack of reserve tanks isn't really that big of a deal. I just did mine at 33 hours and the bleeding process went fine. I filled through the top hole until oil ran out of the side hole. Put the plugs in and did the bleeding process. Let it set a bit and topped the oil off again and it's been fine. Actually a lot quieter than it was before.

Thank you for your comment, that’s the way I thinking I was going to do the transmission change, I’m going to get a couple of filters an get it done.

@@michaeljessie1853 I will warn you that those were the hardest filters I've ever tried to remove from anything. I basically had to destroy them to get them off. I have no idea how/why they were on so tight.

Adjust your handle stop bolts and it won’t pull the ends off of the steering dampers

Thanks for your comment, those ends on the damper shocks had play in them that’s the reason they would come off .
