- Full Review on my 2023 Hustler Raptor XDX 60" that I bought earlier this year. If you buy the XDX with a 60" deck it comes with a 24hp Kawasaki engine. One thing you may not know is the XDX comes with the same deck as the Hustler Fastrak which is a commercial grade mower and therefore a commercial grade 10-guage fabricated deck. The XDX comes with a 3 year/300 hour limited warranty for residential use. I looked at other zero turns like the Bad Boy ZT Elite, Bad Boy Maverick, Scag Liberty, Scag Freedom, and the Cub Cadet ZT2. The Hustler Raptor XDX is a great mower - I hope you enjoy the review.
Here is the part number for the deck assist lift I installed on my XDX:
Hustler part number: 127403
I like your channel just found it. I do a small lawn care business, and refurbish and resell mowers. I love a Hustler I got last year for $200. I restore it with $800, a commercial fastrak 52 with Honda motor. If I ever upgrade it will be staying Hustler!
Great review. I'm stepping up to the XDX for the same reasons you mentioned. Hava a 42 Fasttrac I bought new 25 years ago and maintained myself. It is still running well. We recently bought 26 acres. I will need this for the homestead area. I have a Kobota 3560 tractor for fields so this hustler should last 25 years like its predecessor.
The deck foot lever is mounted backwards!
They do that to ship it, dealer never switched it over. Good catch
I will need to give my dealer a hard time 😂
HaHa No wonder it was tough to adjust.
The best mower is a 782 diesel cub cadet that is the best mower is love it
LMAO.
Been about a year since this vid, still recommend this mower? I am liking the Bad Boy ZT Elite, Hustler Raptor XDX, and the Ariens Apex
This raptor mowe looks way better then the about 2015 hustler raptor sd model i owned. The deck opening on it would clog up too quickly when I would be cutting a tall Bermuda grass yard.
I am interested in that Kubota 2120 diesel garden tractor as my dad's yard has steep about 20 degree inclines in the back yard.
I have 2016 RaptorSD and had the same issue. They make conversion kit to reinforce the opening so you can cut the bottom bar off of the deck opening (stupid design on that deck)
I’m looking to upgrade to the 54” Raptor XDX But everyone near me wants $7099 for it 😢
@@harolddenton6031what the hell does that have to do with the price of tea in China?
Adjust the carburetor to a slower idle and it will do better on gas
Still liking this mower?
Nice!
Is this a commercial model?
Nice looking mower for the price for little more u could of gotten a Kubota 400 series which has a fs 730v engine which is a little better engine than the fr ones and jump up to a 3600 hydro gear I bought one back in 2018 for around 7k
I did finance it for o down for 4 years was like 180 ish a month I did look at the raptor sdx back then and decided to go to the Kubota had it till 2021 when I upgraded to a gravely 252
How do you like this machine? Any problems?
I love it! Last summer was the first full season mowing with it and it was great! Would definitely recommend
@@schneiderandson About how many hours are on it?
Around 30 or so I believe. So far so good!
Another one is vanguard engines there the Detroit of engines
Is the old mower still available
I’m trading a 36” stand on bobcat for this
Nice! I hope you like it! I love my XDX
Do these come with lights?
No, the XDX does not come stock with lights but I’ve seen some ppl add them
@schneiderandson currently stuck on this Raptor XDX and Gravely ZT HD
Your review on the XDX helps a lot
Kohler should have stuck with toilets, there small engines are s**t!!! Just bought a Hustler last night, I like it better than my Exmark
I have 4 of them and don't have any problems with them.
If you have several free tractors to mow with, why spend $7,000? Not understanding logic.
He doesn’t have several free tractors he has a stable full of free tractors. Logic doesn’t apply.
powerwash
I used to power wash my deck as well, but then someone told me it’s hard to get the deck completed dried out and it can cause rust and corrosion. And to be careful around the deck spindles if they are hot after mowing
@@schneiderandson I have been pressure washing my decks for years and then take some compressed air and blow them out

Those bulges on the front edge of the seat turn me off. Speaks of the quality issue.
