I love Chris and Leslie, their videos are both informative and very funny. In the past year, my hair has improved 100% by using his techniques. I also use a boar bush to redistribute the oil from my scalp which gives me an extra day.
Just found your channel looking for reviews on the L/L/L shampoo and conditioner. I have been using it about 3-4 weeks, maybe longer. My hair is SUPERFINE and I am not loving it. It feels so much more dry and frizzy than when I was using the IGK he recommended (I'm in the US). I do like the Pureology alright. Before I was using IGK, Purology, Moroccan mask, and Olaplex 3 that he recommended me after the quiz I took. I decided his shampoo and conditioner must be better so I ordered, but I really think I like the IGK better--my hair felt more hydrated. Thanks for your video, and like you, I still love Chris and will continue his methods, just not loving his shampoo and conditioner like I'd hoped.
I wish I could try the IGK one - I must try and see if I can get it here (UK) again. I was watching Mary off TikTok again yesterday (I watch a lot of hair videos!) and she also recommended using a scalp specific shampoo first and then another one that is more moisturising... I am going to keep on experimenting and recording about my results :) Thanks for stopping by 💜
I think that Chris is focused more on hair than scalp - I have oily scalp (like face people with oily skin have different needs than dry skin people)and if I push it and wash my hair only 2x a week I'll get scalp issues.Couple of years ago I was brainwashed into the no sulphate thing and lost lots of hair. So if you need to wash more often do it.I tend to rotate shampoo's and conditioners according what my hair and scalp needs(like right now I swim a lot so hello extra dryness). One more tip salacylic acid is great for oily scalp - I use even a face scrub on my scalp with it and it helps to remove the oilyness(Neutrogena scrub against black head's orange bottle) it's kinda strange but it works.
Thank you so much for commenting all this - I definitely beginning to think that scalp health is critical... I mean it is not like I was ignoring it but I had a lot to do to get my hair routine back on track.
I got the shampoo a couple of weeks ago ( I use the pulp riot confitioner) - totally agree with you on the slight straw-like feeling, and the smell. I cant make up my mind if I like it or not. It definitely prolonged my between wash days, but I dont have the hydrated glossy feel that I'm looking for. I love Chris, and I use his trinity routine - he's saved my hair, but after suddenly becoming allergic to my regular shampoo, I'm on the lookout for another. Great video!
Ooo I have not heard of pulp riot conditioner... I must look into that. So glad the shampoo helped you extend between washes. I just cannot get past day 2 😭 thank you so much for stopping by xxx
Thank you for the honest review! I just bought this shampoo and conditioner, I haven't received it yet can't wait to try it out, I'm hoping that I'll have better luck and it will help my hair Thanks again for the honest review
I love Chris and Lesli as well. I watch every single one of their videos and yes, his advice has really helped me over the past year too. I find, though, that he advocates for volumizing products for people with fine hair like us and they tend to equal dryness. I didn’t care for, the volume injection by Redken because it is too drying. I had the same experience with Chris’s products. If you don’t plan to use them, he will be so kind as to give you a refund. That’s especially sweet because I use that shower cap all the time when I use my maskand I love his brush. He is a wonderful human being, too. I’m sorry this didn’t work out for either one of us 20:37 21:53 21:55 22:01 22:10 l 23:18
Hello, its been a while since I've dropped in, your skin is absolutely glowing! Hair is the bane of my life, mine isn't particularly fine but I've thinned out on the top of my head to the point I have a ponytail the width of a five pence piece. I've given up tbh, I think my hair is just too thin even a little grease makes it look so oily.
Thanks for stopping by. Sorry to hear about your hair troubles. Have you tried some sort of bond repair? I think that has been the game changer for me.
If you watch some of my more recent haircare videos, I have reviewed some bond repair treatments like the Loreal Elvive one and the Redken acidic bonding one. The kind of OG is Olaplex - which I have on my list to try.
I ordered from their website - Live Love Locks & there is an option for International Shipping. The UK is included in the options. Hope that helps! Let us know how you get on if you try them out!

I must get hold of a boar brush! Thank you so much for the suggestion :)
The conditioner is great, and super thick.
Yes! I am finding it works way better in conjunction with a different shampoo.
