Parallel Lines and Proportional Parts

I liked your video, but I have a question, On 8:50 of the video you mentioned a possible proportion(of 3 parallel lines) was AB/BC = DE/DF, but wouldn't it be AB/BC = DE/EF, since they are parallel.
