    I got one of these to dry off my little sports car. It worked FANTASTIC!!! WOW!!! The whole car, not just the nooks and crannies!

    I just used one today for the first time. It's actually very powerful for such a small machine. I find that it's a double edged sword however. It's great for blowing water out (and there's a lot of water) of the seams and the molding but that's kind of the problem. The more I blew the more water came spraying out and the more I had to dry with a towel. You need also to use a towel to dry the spray water unless you want to be there for hours chasing water beads and spray around. I was astonished at how much "hidden" water there was in the seams and crevices of the car (and there's a lot). I guess it's ok to help with the drying process especially the wheels (saves your back and knees) speeding up the wheel drying but people should not believe that it's going to speed up the whole drying process because it won't. It will just help getting ALL the water out of the seems and moldings. It also helps if your car has a good coating on it. Oh, yeah..It's good for the grill and side mirrors too. Thanks for the video.

      You won’t be disappointed. Also great for cleaning dust out of house fans or dusting dashes in cars.

    Appreciate the video. Deciding between this or the Master Blaster. I don't own a detailing business, but I meticulously take care of my cars paint. I don't mind coughing up the money for the Master Blaster if I need to. Also nice touch with the arrows indicating the attachments during the unboxing. Good video!

      Thank you! I still lean towards this because of its small side vs the master blaster on wheels. I have a pull down power chord from the ceiling and keep it over my shoulder when blowing off the car vs having to drag something behind me. Either way you go you can’t go wrong! Good luck

    I need to get one of those. When I get caught in the rain on my bike, I use a huge leaf blower to dry off my bike 🤣

      You won’t be disappointed! I blew out my dyson bin and filter yesterday in the drive way and always find new uses. Check out Griot’s’s garage spray ceramic for your bike with the blower

    Great Mustang. Do they have any accessories you would buy? Trunk and tailgates and door jams are my concerns. Got to buy one.

      Thank you! Honestly, the straight attachment with the device is all you need to remove water from any crevice. Also if you pair your vehicle with a Griot's Garage ceramic spray wax, water beads right up and the blower gets it moving off your vehicle.

    Looks like it could be quite effective on a vehicle that has well protected paint....the short power cord could be a concern though for me....how have you found having the bulk of the plug close to your paintwork?

    • @InsomniacReviews
      @InsomniacReviews  2 роки тому

      Good question I have one of those retractable power cords in my garage which is ceiling mounted so I pull this down and put it over my shoulder down my arm to the blower so don’t have to worry about anything touching the paint.

    just ordered one, can it be plugged into the car for power or do i need a socket? i misread the information and assumed you charged it up an could walk around the car with it

      Interesting question. I would say if you had a power inverter and the vehicle running you probably could. I don’t know the electrical draw vs how much power a vehicle gives off while running.

    How do you keep areas of your ride from drying and spotting while you’re drying other areas?

    • @InsomniacReviews
      @InsomniacReviews  2 роки тому

      Good question and you have a few options. I personally think the blower works so well and fast I use it in the driveway with the sun out without any water spots. You could pull the car in the garage to give you more time from the sun. If you use something like a griots garage spray ceramic it helps the water float on top of the car and easily moved with the blower.

    Was there a ceramic coat on the car?

    • @InsomniacReviews
      @InsomniacReviews  3 роки тому

      No. I use TurtleWax Wash and Wax spray. I’ve never had ceramic on any car.

    Does it filter the air ? If so is the filter washable?

    • @InsomniacReviews
      @InsomniacReviews  3 роки тому

      Yes and yes. Filter is on bottom of the blower is washable.

    Why buy something so small if you’re still dependent on plugging it
    It would be useful if it was cordless otherwise I’d use a bigger blower

    • @InsomniacReviews
      @InsomniacReviews  3 роки тому

      Small but powerful. I own and tried a EGO blower and this is more precise and powerful on larger areas and tight spots. I have to plug my power washer into the water so plugging the blower into power isn't an issue for me and the small size allows me to keep in my car. Ive used this to clean computers and vents on fans with great results.

    It sounds like it is making a lot noise. Is there a dB spec on it?

    • @InsomniacReviews
      @InsomniacReviews  3 роки тому

      Not sure the db specs but I wouldn’t consider it loud for what it does. I’ll do some research and follow up if I can find more info.

      I would go this one since that’s all they focus on making vs chemical guys. Both seem to be same principal
