I admire your trade ,,,, usually everything comes up to the tools we use to make our lives better and cleaning a car can very well be obsessive specially when you’re trying to do it perfectly 😂😂😂😂
I like see you show the power the MetroVac as a car dryer on a coated car. I own the McKee's branded version of the the 8hp Master Blaster made by Metro Vac . The water is blown out all those intricate grills. and around the mirrors very easily . I bought my Master Blaster on sale at Mckee's for $399 . Ego blowers are nice but as I past the 60 year mark holding the blower to do SUV roofs is not as comfortable. as used to be. Metro Vacs are built to out last you.
Inhave an ego and asked my self why would anyone pick this up first vs a blo gt or metro vac. I’ll have to set up that test and do a comparisons. Thanks doc for watching
Great review! I truly enjoy all the little details ( specs on the vacuum cleaners). Have a safe holiday weekend Bro! Give a big kiss & hug to the family from us!
You're one of two people who have made a video on this particular vacuum. I just purchased one, and I can't wait to use it. I hope to start detailing from home as a side hustle soon. I've spared no expense getting prepped to do detailing from my garage for the sake of efficiency, and quality.
Great comparison to the Home Depot vac that many detailers use everyday. The Metrovac demo was great but $800 is quite expensive for most of us. I hope you do a longer, more in-depth comparison on the Metrovac and show it being used on several different interiors. I am tempted but would like to see the Metrovac in action in a longer video.
800 dollars is super expensive, that I agree but this thing is more then just a amazing vacuum it gives out hot air as well for drying. With that said I what would a longer video look like? I can say this when Nick from Diy was at my shop he was blown away it suck’s as good as a car wash vacuum the noise is less and the hose if comes with is 30 feet with all the accessories. Anyway give me some ideas and I’ll put something together
@@Ecdetails Here are some ideas for a video. Compare to Home Depot Ridgid vacuum with 1) sand on carpet 2) dog hair on carpet 3) dried mud from shoes on carpet. These are conditions that take extra time to clean. If the Metrovac can quickly clean up sand, dog hair and mud that would be valuable information to have before making a purchasing decision.
@@EcdetailsGood video but would really like to see it perform on some of the cheap carpet that seems almost impossible to vacuum where everything is stuck in the fibers
The rigid sounds like Darth Vader waiting for his inhaler. The master blaster is full Darth Vader plus a hair dryer running. It is the best I've seen so far! Wanda was doing some serious work with it last video! $800 but 1/2 the time to clean its well worth it
My Brodie! Eddie great comparison! Sheesh I need to get a metro vac for sure. The metro vac side you did the test on had a lot more crumbs and gunk and still did it in about 30 sec. Metro vac is on my bucket list. You’re right that’s been my only downside on why I never got it just the parts is not easily accessible and the ridgid is more affordable. Like you said as detailers Time is money 💪
I remember when you ordered your Metrovac! When I bought my master blaster back in 2019 I should have gotten the vac/blow combo because I wasn't even thinking that far forward. I absolutely dislike my huge craftsman shop vac because it isn't friendly to work with in my single car garage. This is also why I haven't used the MB either because I find the hose not friendly to use but I will definitely use it more once I move into the next rental. I am however going to get the smaller 2hp version for winter applications or when I need something mobile and quick when the car is inside the garage. Glad it's serving you well man!
@@Ecdetails Without question these are excellent products. My 3 favorites are incredible sudz and the apple cider smelling rinseless and the all clean . The window cleaner was smearing a lot so I went back to absolute or ADG wipeout 👍
@@Ecdetailshey Eddie have a question so do you use fragrance inside the vehicle after you finish detailing. I saw P&S have 3 of them one is the absolute coconut smell. Wanted to know if you use any you can recommend. After I finish doing the inside I like to put in a nice smell.
@@stevenv9224 I use platinum potion , you can get it at parks car care best smelling stuff and last a long time. If I do dry extraction I generally add a smell to neutralize the car carpets
@@Ecdetails Can be tricky sometimes I guess lol. I don’t know if you saw it but I was wondering about op ceramic + durability as a drying aid. Is it more of a last until next wash or months of protection kind of product? Thanks
That is a great question it is up to 3 month. Done both wet and dry, I generally just use it as a dry aid and do something like op Detailer , defender , reup ,armour as my topper. If I’m ceramic coating I still use ceramic plus and polish the car
By the time the “saved time” finally equates “saved dollars” at which point it begins to pay for itself, you would likely need to begin replacing parts and dealing with customer service…that alone is not worth it.
Wrong!! The Ridgid is way better ,,,,, you clean cars ,,, I clean my cars my house and I’m cleaning house and buildings for almost 30 years,,,,,, ProTeam is also one of the best vacuum cleaners 😂😂😂. Go ahead and waste your money with metrovac if you want 😂😂😂😂
@@Ecdetails any canister ridgid vacuum from Home Depot is going to serve you better than the metro,,,,, Ridgid can pick up water,, has also way more capacity, way cheaper and easy to replace at Home Depot,,,, metrovac seems good,,, i have a small one,,,, but ridgid is better .
@@Ecdetails probably for an extractor you already know what’s needed ,,, I’m okay with Mytee,,,,,, l use a steamer to clean my floors at houses,,,probably you have one of those as well,,, but be careful you could burn or stain cheap plastic on cars 😂😂. It’s happened to me,,

Yes it’s expensive. But if you charge accordingly and realize time is money, that $800 pays for itself way faster than a cheaper vac.

Off topic question Eddie. Does the All Clean in the 16 oz bottle need to be cut 1:1 for interior cleaning on vinyl, plastics? Also excellent demo👍
Is it rtu ? If it’s rtu you would just use it straight don’t dilute it
