  • At Drivenmad, we repair, maintain and upgrade vehicles in our workshop, here in the sunny Algarve, Portugal.
    Having hundreds of kilometres of dirt roads, dirt tracks and various hills with ruts on our doorstep, we venture out and test our 4x4’s to the limit (our limit, not theirs  )
    When we can get one, we will slip in a vehicle review, along with some product testing - who does not want to know which tyre stops the best ?
    So subscribe and join our journey as we modify, test and improve our cars in as many ways as possible.
    You must love the tunes - so make sure to check out “Death Of Guitar Pop” for some awesome music!

    Ooh apologies, bit late to the party on this one. I've been busy putting the finishing touches to my new patio. It's got a big lump in the middle, but I'm sure over time that will flatten out.

      Busy is as busy does, luckily the temperature should be warming soon, will help those bacteria do their thing - if I may, perhaps a little deeper would have been ideal, but a decent pot should hide those odd tiles 😉

    It is great stuff used them on antenna cables which are outside and subjected to weather and they hold up really well.

    Hi Jon and Nath......
    That's a good idea with the tape, I like the scientific test using the old cat litter tray......
    Have a great weekend guys, stay well and safe.
    Best regards to you both,
    Stefano.

    Water Displacement 40, WD 40 thats wat it was made for stopping the ingress of water on missiles

      Nice one, I am getting a long list of WD stuff I need to find

      I believe WD40 was developed for corrosion protection of the "Atlas" missile program in the USA.
      WD= water displacement
      40 = the fortieth formula.
      It's the best solution to spray on tools if they have been used outside in the rain or in damp conditions to prevent rust and corrosion damage.

      Reg had feline leukemia, when he first decided to live with us, he hurt his leg, so I took him to the vet & we chipped him.
      As the vet said the leukemia did not like the cold, in went the cat flap, heater in the office, choice of beds and an automated food thing, plus a wifi camera just in case the food did not come out 🥰 (for the one day a year we might not turn up ).
      In December he was not himself, so off to the vet, the leukemia had kicked in, we got him home (Tavira) for a couple of days, he was in the vet for a couple of weeks, it was horrible 😭 ( Nath and I crying like babies ! every day we went in to see him) sadly he did not make it 😩 - although we knew he had it, you think it will never affect him - not the same without him.
      All the other units were asking about him, the old ladys over in the houses always came to see him (they loved us because he had chosen to live with us) - Richard, a couple of units down, knocked on the door everyday (early before we got there) Reg would come out, they would go for a walk, then into Richards for breakfast 😂 he would then come down and wait for us to arrive - this is why we never brought him to Tavira, he had loads of others to see and be with, so it did not seem right to bring him away from everyone else.
      We are still sad and miss him way more than we could ever imagine we could 😭

      @@DrivenMadShow OMG NO!! That’s so sad! May he rest in peace!
      But in the good side regi had so many people that loved him and cared for him and he sure felt loved all the time he was around!!!
      Ooof I know that feeling when we think it won’t affect our babies and it ends up affecting, such hard feeling!!!
