Yoshi-p job hint shirt was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles 1st Fanfest of 2023. Dual welding weapons for 3 of the 4 turtle brothers hinted dual sword Viper. Each of the turtles brothers are named after famous artists, thats was the Pictomancer hint. First time ever Yoshi used one shirt to hint for both expansion jobs.
On top of that, the turtles are ninjas and viper shares scouting gear with ninja.
I was already excited for Dawntrail before the keynote, and I'm frothing at the mouth now. I loved everything about it--from the Pictomancer, to Hrothgals, to Solution Nine, to the music, Etc. I am so unbelievably hyped now, I can't even believe it.
I always said that the class was gonna be pictomancer. Since you seen the teenage murant ninja shirt on Yoshi p, they were all famous Renaissance artists of the past so it had to be a painter class. I had to be picked up answer from the shirt clues but everybody told me I was wrong but vindication. I'm right month's later. I am also dropping all classes and being pictomancer.
Honestly i wasnt totally sold on this upcoming expansion but this new job looks like so much fun. Im definitely getting it now.
I'm excited to try PIC out since the way they describe it makes it sound like DNC in the sense of being a supporting dps

Taking about colorblind... the Astro cards are BLUE and PURPLE 😂.
In our defense: we were using the 3 leaf clover charm Krile found to spur on the Green Mage as the frontrunner + the TMNT being green.
The job seems a bit wacky, but hey, maybe that's what we need in Etheyris.
Nice to see Kryle is living her best life as a pictomancer.

My thoughts on the the outfit 😬 and cartoonish animation were exactly the same. It’s definitely…different but I’m excited about it nonetheless 😅
Agreed, the one thing that stood out to me that I didn't like was the actual art style. Like, we have Shiva in game so that ice spell is going to be compared... and there's is a super horrible ice brick/shatter versus Shiva's. Hopefully they tweak it more.

They out right announced the limited job being added in the last fanfest. We were specilating what one though.
Until they announce the job I don’t believe them haha they’ve promised things and then you don’t find out until til they come out at the end of the expansion for like another year.
I am super stoked it’s beast master I can’t wait to see what they do with it

The art style clashes a bit, but if Krile is happy, then I'm happy.
When dawntrail comes out alot of people gunna drop healing for pictomancer the need for heals gunna be real.
i'll try pictomancer to see if i can enjoy a ff14 spellcaster. but the key art being a cat boi also helps since thats what i play.
I kind of expected it. The green mage stuff felt like a red herring.
krile is wearing that green earing still in the cinematic. but yeah turns out it had nothing to do with green.
1:05 --- ... Bard... doesnt have casts. He used to have but that was in HW.
I'm glad for Krile but it's still weird to me that she's a pictomancer before Alphi.

This is a big NO for me! I can't stand the 2D look of the spells, if they change the look of them, I might play it! It is way to cartoony! In my book Pictomancer should have been the Limited Job instead of Beastmaster! The green pendant that Kryle got has been the icon that every FF game before has used for Green Mage! It is sad that Green Mage & or Geomancer is not in this expansion!

AST stormblood job story mentions Geomancer, that its an alternate AST is for the far east apparently.
Green Mage would of never worked... have you not seen the direction FFXIV has been going? They want to stray away from DoT Mage. Which is good. Pictomancer is fine, it was in only 1 final fantasy game and that was ff6.
