Thanks for your video, I have the old stuff belt problem as well. I found if you left the cover over the pulley which the belt motor drives, it will be easier to install the new belt. The cover was kind glued but gentle press it can left it. I wish UA-cam can send pictures in Comment section so a picture will be much easier to explain.

This Cambridge unit is designed pretty nice though , I like how the drive is built along with the simple layout of he components inside

To say is that the DAC is positioned near by the power-supply IC in case of low noise. But it is outside the Black shield on the underside of the PCB. The question is eligible - why they set this chip outside of the shield? And why they bring the signal from the back to the front side in a shielded cable. I think the DAC was first planed on the backside and then the have a distortion on the analogue out signal so the position it to the front side near the power-supply to minimize the distortion.

Hi, I really appreciate your way of working. I should change the laser head, what does the 340 C fit?

Hello - boooaaaahhh I don't remember that but please it is written on the Laser-Pickup itself. Read this and order one new at Ali-Express or Amazon there are cheap ones for around €10,- or so. weakbit

Instead of gluing it, it was enough to screw in the screw there, but there is still something wrong with it, when the engine is stationary it should stop, your engine rotates backwards all the time when it is in the STOP function, something is still damaged

Thank you for this information - I found out that the spin motor was defect I change it and then the amplifier was also defect again! The PWM I think so you said stop the motor immediate. Thank you for that - that you mentioned this issue! weakbit

Belts need to be gutentight too , they should use gear drives for these things instead of belts , and not plastic gears , brass gears that can be lubed and will last a life time , oh wait 🤔midfi and lowfi want your return business. 🤦

The answer is correct - this machine is end of live. I get this CD-Player from the trash in case of I made only a Video with it and then give it back. The CD-Player will give back to the poor persons they are never can pay a CD-Player like this and the cost of this repair.
