Thanks for the tip on the nail gun… I didn’t know orientation of the gun itself would make a difference on blowout. Great tip and an enjoyable video as always. Best to you and yours.
Yeah Boyee!! These both came out really cool Jon. I think bloopers would be an extremely enjoyable touch to some of your videos Bud. Hoping all is well, Dirty Jersey out!!
Love your stuff Jon, but one simple and cheap suggestion for these boards that will make them even more useable....four rubber feet. I use 1" rubber feet held in place with a center screw. Nothing is more annoying than chasing a cutting board across a super slick granite counter top, and the rubber feet cure that issue.
Thanks for sharing. I watched this video, went out to my shop and made up the handle jig and It worked fantastic on the big cutting board I have been working on. Also thanks for the tip on cutting the juice grooves. I had already cut my juice grooves on this board, but this system looks a little easier.
Jon, have a good Thanksgiving! Folks, support this channel because Jon and his wife have to feed their giant sons Thursday. That’s gonna run into the thousands of dollars.
I also have an air filter always running So I guess I was doing it right i wear it about five minutes or more if I forget I enjoy your video for making the C B handles
Haven’t seen a juice groove made that way before, might be my new favorite way! Jon, do you ever raise the grain on your cutting boards before sanding?
Nice work, but I think the finger cutouts are too far in from the edge for aesthetic reasons, they don't need to be more than 2 knuckles deep to be ergonomic. Cheers
First, Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours Jon!!! I need to head back to New Jersey one day to visit family. Great video. Just took a 3D cutting board class from Alex Snodgrass...still need to finish sand it and may very well take your instruction above into account as I finish it. Thank you!
wow that's an aggressive finger groove. I've always just use my 1" core box bit on the router table but even then I'm only using half the bit so the groove only goes half an inch in. Perfect for getting your fingers right under there though
I’m always amazed at Jon’s ability to draw a freehand straight line.
The spring set you used are made in my hometown spokane Wa. Best tool ever!
They are! Great tool 👍👍

Great tips, I especially like your design for the cutting board handles over the
dozens of woodworking videos that I have viewed on UA-cam lately.
Great job Jon!! Way ahead of you partner. Thumbs up. Best to Laurel, Olivia and the Peters men.
this is why i keep coming back to his page. thanks!
Wow.. this is great!
Always great stuff, been watching for about 6 years. Can't wait till you get to a million subscribers, you deserve it. Thanks again.
Love it! Thank you in general and for clearly explaining the process. Now I’m inspired with some design ideas. 😁😁
1. Thanks for the tip about the nail gun!!

Thanks Brother!
I like handles you made in the cutting board
Nice and Brady board like that needs some.
Beautiful boards, Jon.
Good stuff as always Jon. Nail gun blow out is a good reason to pay attention where your support hand is located.
Jon, great work as well as instructions.
What router bit did you use for this?
Great tips! Beautiful boards!
Like your way to make handles on cutting boards
Good looking stuff Jon. The jigs does make it so much easier

Good idea 👍 thanks Mike
What router bit did you use for the handles.
A great tutorial video. We will take full advantage of your guidance and thank you for your efforts.
This goes without saying, beautiful work, Jon. Wishing you & your loved ones a very Happy & Healthy Thanksgiving!
Beautiful cutting boards Jon! Those would make great gifts! Happy Holidays to you and your family! 👍👍
Good stuff as always!
Great job explaining everything thank you 👍
Nice Jon ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Btw, that router WAS serious.😏
Thank you! Wish someday i Will be making something close to this
I use the cove bit to cut finger grips on each end so both sides of the board are usable.
Good idea 👍
Hello Mr. Peters! I have learned from their projects, with the few tools I have I have done my projects. God bless you and your nation.
How deep did you cut the second to the last piece? The one that was notched out.
Is it difficult to keep the router tight to the board? Is there a tip for that? It looks like you are cutting counterclockwise. Why?
What was the cove bit that you used? Whiteside 1/2” cove bit? Do you have the number?
Hermoso trabajo me pregunto que tipo de madera será la roja saludos desde México
Thanks, that’s Purple hart

I got a question
How long do you wear your respirator after you turn off your tool that your using
A few minutes, but I have an air filter running too
I also have an air filter always running
So I guess I was doing it right i wear it about five minutes or more if I forget
I enjoy your video for making the C B handles
You can tell when Jon is a little pissed and wants chuck a hammer across the room but refrains and carries on with the build. 😳🤣
Haven’t seen a juice groove made that way before, might be my new favorite way! Jon, do you ever raise the grain on your cutting boards before sanding?
Wow. Those are good looking cutting boards. They'd make great gifts.
Mystery wood looks like black limba.
That’s it! Thanks
When you cut the pockets out of the cutting board wouldn’t it have been easier to employ pattern bit instead of a straight bit and a bushing?
maybe you can make the finger grab in the middle, so you can also use the other side :)
Not sure why you wouldn't just use a pattern bit and simple flat jig for making the handles.
Nice work, but I think the finger cutouts are too far in from the edge for aesthetic reasons, they don't need to be more than 2 knuckles deep to be ergonomic. Cheers

How did you not burn the corners?
Very nice

My board is only 11 1/8 wide. How do I figure the dimensions I need? Because yours won't work for me.
bad design
Feel good now
