Ne irascaris Domine: 0:00
Civitas sancti tui: 4:38
Ne irascaris Domine satis,
et ne ultra memineris iniquitatis nostrae.
Ecce respice populus tuus omnes nos.
Civitas sancti tui facta est deserta.
Sion deserta facta est,
Jerusalem desolata est.
Do not be angry, O Lord,
and do not remember our iniquity forever.
Behold, we are all your people.
Your holy city has become a wilderness.
Zion has become a wilderness,
Jerusalem a desolation. - Розваги
Architecturally, this composition is supreme, with h it‘s timeless phrases, and textual feeling.
This has to be a stupendous composition of Byrd.
Nice work!
Beautifully interpreted, with a timeless feeling.
Congratulations on a superb performance!
😍
Bravo!
Merci mille fois.
Well spoken- it is truth.
Never thought a there’d be a rendering of this twinned piece to compare with Voces 8 … but this has more of a liturgical feeling to it …essential, as it’s not a concert piece … thank you!
Thank you!🌷
Stunning job!
I beautiful rendition, I agree
