Your tea set looks great on that neutral display. Very dainty. Its interesting how all the names for tea started and we oftern say the wrong thing when we are referring to the one type of way to drink tea. I remember when i was younger I would often say we are going to have a tea party if we were having cakes and lunch with our tea.
Hi dear Melanie, I have used a few different ones in the past to try out which works best. For big teapots I believe I went to T2 and bought a large ball shaped one. Now I have a strainer from Wedgwood that I put on top of the teacup and let the sediment fall into that.

It’s different for everyone all over the world but when we are referring to the British version usually afternoon tea is the correct phrasing.
