People who think e-bikes are for fat and lazy people, well fat and lazy people won’t go mountain biking regardless of an e-bike or not, they will just sit around the house all day. Most people I see on e-bikes are older people who can’t ride a normal bike, but an e-bike allows them to enjoy mountain biking with everyone. I think e-bikes are awesome, and I’m a competitive xc racer. Just as long as everyone is on a bike and everyone is having fun, that’s all that matters

I'm amazed at the number of people just now discovering how fun motorcycles are.

As someone out of shape who just got into both MTB and got an ebike, I def can attest to the fact that you are still quite out of breath. The "attack stance" or whatever for like 50ft will leave me out of breath, quads/hammies burning, and like 160+ hr. If I didn't have an ebike there's no way I could do any of what I was doing.
I swear I have no problem with e-bikes, until I get passed by one on a tough climb and its being ridden by a 70 year old man. F^&*ing ebike F^&*s.
I was sold at Vodka and Pizza. The dirtbike sounds made me only want to go straight to the Stark Varg Future and skip pedals all together...Thanks BOBO!!!!

U don’t need one dude! Just go ride ur mountain bike! Regular mountain bikes are way more capable in the hands of the right user than any e-bike. Just practice and get better on a regular mountain bike. No one needs this electric assistance. Just bring snacks and a couple doobers and u can ride just as far if not further than the e-bikers.

Always enjoy your videos. I don't own an e-bike and not really looking to get one yet. Maybe someday. Only 62, so there is time. Also, I just bought a new Esker a couple years ago and love it and don't really have the money to spend on an expensive new e-bike. I know there are probably some good deals to be found on a used one, but if I ever get one, it will probably be new and something like the new Transition coming out or another smaller, lighter bike. All I really care about is that I am able to keep pedaling! Thanks for the entertainment!

those two places and the new bike park: Ride Rock Creek, are all that I know o0f for now. Tennessee is pretty much any trail you ride, e-bikes are allowed!

@@Clynikal i fell for it then haha! but every "satirical point' in this video is actually absolutely correct. Ive put 1400 miles in 3 months on my e-bike since i've got it (took a year on my acoustic bike for that) and since the e-bike my skills, endurance, style and overall enjoyment of the sport has gone through the roof.
Satire or not e-bikes are the present and future of MTB, and they freaking rock!!

Please stop restricting class 1 and 2 ebikes from trails. They go slower than the posted speed limit, certainly lower than unassisted bikes going downhill, and batteries are no more harmful than a cellphone or laptop battery is( don't see a cellphone prohibition on trails).
Lastly, what about the handicapped who need an adaptive electric mountain trike?

Looking to get one later down the line but going to take a couple of months to get one, unfortunately. Want a bike for work but also one to get me back to mountain biking as I had my last full suspension stolen. Thankfully it was an extremely old downhill bike so it didn't cost me thousands to get it, wasn't the prettiest bike but didn't the job
OMG a cigarette, as a grey hair in the MTB space I wonder all of this is going to end up. There is an annual MTB race at Douthat state park in Virginia. It features a bunch of double black, brutal climbs. When they added the eBike division I truly thought what is the point?
