Amen. Lisa is a gem. If she also is an entrepreneur because of the hard work she has put into building her channel and the benefits she has reaped, good for her. She spends hours searching for items to share with us so we don't have to do the work or...even worse...waste money. I respect that she doesn't "overshare" about her family and hasn't exploited any of her children for clicks. Every mentor encounters tormentors who don't get the message or have nothing better to do. Her loyal subscribers appreciate all she does. I WISH that I could wear as many styles of jeans as Lisa!

I took some time & actually label all my jeans with raffia string and brown labels I found on Amazon. I put each label & string around a belt loop on each pair of jeans so I don’t have to take them and unfold them to know which pair they are. I put brand, size & anything else pertinent. It’s great and saves time.

Love this Lisa! Could you please do a video on different outfits to wear to the gym or workout in? I have recently joined the gym and I have no idea what to wear besides sweat pants and tshirts. All jeans are cute but ironically CoH Lilah look perfect and sexy on you. I have similar body shape and taste and gravitate towards “boxy” trendy denim. But seeing Lilah on you made me realize what looks the most flattering.

I DO LIKE the dark skinny jeans you queationed. The sid dark gives the leg uninterrupted visual length, unlike the ones you like better.
I liked the Mother High Waisted Hiker Hover because they remind me of a classic 501 look. The dark wash of the AYR Bomb pop was a classy Jean. You make them all look great but those two stood out to me.
The risée was my favorite jeans.

Oooooh! I do LOOOVE a closet clean out video. They get me so motivated to clean out my own closet. ❤ And for some odd reason, has me so looking forward to summer and it’s barely January.🤷🏻♀️
I liked the 3rd pair Mother high rise hiker. To me they look like they are a cigarette pant leg, which I love. Possibly You're long waisted, I am my Mom made a lot of my dress pants in my teenage years and always had to add length to the waist to hip area of the pattern. This fall they came out with more mid rise jeans and they look more like a low rise on me and make me look heavier then I am. Keep in mind when they cut the jeans out they have a tall stack of material and depending on where that pair was in the stack could affect the size. You talked about organizing your jeans. What I do is have several multi pair hangers. Holds 5 pair. I have one for wide, straight, slim/skinny, and a black jeans hanger. Hope this gives u an ideal of how to organize. Happy new years 🎉
The best thing I can advise is to create not just a closet but literally a room and have fun with it setting up like the best boutique ever…walking in to get dressed feels like shopping every day…”S” hooks for jeans sorted by either color or design..straight cropped white blue black etc each section for blazers blouses dresses and some large tables for jewelry with jewelry trees boxes etc and at least two large mirrors make it a full experience and more than just a closet changing it out seasonally and use your actual closet for off season pieces intimates workout clothes daily home clothes. Love the Mother jeans the Tomcats run small the rest of their jeans seem to run your normal size Citizen of Humanity I find run big Agolde vary by color and style but I do love my denim too and the “S” hooks were a game changer because I also kept piles here there and everywhere in my closet 😂love a good closet clean out this time of year!!
I’ve been waiting for this video! I love it. Those Mother Tomcat confessions are my favorites! Trying to order. My other favs are the Mother Insider Floods. You wore them in a video and were kind enough to tell me what they were. I love them! I think the way you processed the mean comment from the person criticizing the Tomcats is amazing. To be able to love what you love and not take an ugly comment personally and actually feel for the person because they must be hurting is such a blessing. Thanks for sharing that story. So for the longest time I've been trying to get myself to the consignment store. I have some very nice pieces that were expensive when purchased but I just can't fit into them anymore. Well I guess being a procrastinator pays off. Since going carnivore my body is changing and a couple of the pieces actually fit now. I've cancelled the idea of taking everything to consignment as I'm still losing weight. I think I just found myself a new wardrobe! 😁

I have issues with measurements too. My smallest part of midsection is up high like you said. Jeans are hard because its not my waist size I have to go by I don't think? I feel like my hips are where most people measure their waist. The struggle is real lol.

About the second pair of skinny jeans: they’re a darker color just in case you want a darker shade for some combo. I say keep them unless you have another darker skinny jeans. Like you said you’ll bring them into now with the other pieces you wear with them.

Great video Lisa. My favorite was the very first pair. Pay no attention to the haters. You are so right. For whatever reason, they don't want others to feel good. I’m love jeans! My rule since high school has been. If the bottom of the back pockets come down close to the bottom of my butt cheeks it’s an automatic no, even if I love them, makes my butt look droopy. I’m the same height as you but very short waisted with long legs, it’s a challenge to get the right fit.

You reminded me, I need to clean out my closet. I would keep the skinny jeans. I kept my skinny jeans because I love to wear them with knee high boots in the winter. I love the way Celine styled them in their Fall/Winter 2023/2024 collection. I have some tall black western knee high boots, and some black suede slouchy moto boots from Free People that I love to wear them with, and some 70's looking chocolate brown suede knee high boots. Also, keep the boot legs or find some that you like better, because boot leg and flare jeans are going to be big next year. Straight and wide leg jeans are on their way out, not that you have to get rid of them, they just won't be as big of a trend.
NO Lisa when people say things like that they are jealous you can wear them and they can not. I am saying that because l have been through it. You have said if you like it wear it. I love your videos and what you have to say so believe in what you preach.
I'm decluttering, but I don't have as much clothes and shoes as you do, so it's easier. HAPPY NEW YEAR.
