That's amazing! I'm on day 23 and have lost only 6 lbs. I am pretty sure I'm not losing faster because I have wine on the weekends and alcohol is a no-no. Congrats to you though!!
I'm 53 this year and eating meat only works for me too. I was under 20 carbs for 20 years and just went meat only about 6 months ago...Less joint pain, more weight loss, mental fog gone. Love it. Don't worry about the haters...I say...'you do you'....everyone is different. Good job Lisa.

You are so right about never being hungry. I went Keto 2 years ago. Did not have more than 20 carbs a day for 18 months. I was shocked how hunger disappeared after cutting carbs. I feel so good now. All aches and pains gone! Got off thyroid medicine! Never felt better. I have added back some carbs, but stay under 100. Some days I only eat once. Intermittent fasting is wonderful. I have done a little fasting too. People just can’t understand it till they try it.
I lost 35 lbs in a calorie deficit with volume eating, but I struggled to keep it off because I was so SO hungry. I would gain and lose the same 5 lbs after I lost the weight. I would get so hungry that I couldn’t help but binge and then the next week was restricting to lose those 5 lbs I gained from binging. I could eat a huge meal and not feel even slightly full! I went keto and for the first time in forever I felt full. Fat is so incredibly satisfying! Not only do I feel great, but it has made maintaining my weight loss a breeze! I’m full and haven’t binged since!
Lisa is so right about everything. I am 5'2 3/4 and I weighed 212 lbs the day i gave birth to my 3rd baby. At my 6 week check up appointment I weighed 187 lbs...and that was unfortunately my pre-pregnancy weight from when I had my 2nd child. I was STUCK at that weight for about 4 years!! I stuck with keto (granted, I do LAZY keto) I allow myself up to 50 carbs per day, but imagine how much quicker I'd lose if I just stuck to strict keto..I have lost almost 50 lbs since then. I am trying to get back down to 120 lbs. It only took me 6 months to lose the 50 lbs following my keto lifestyle. I've been wanting to try carnivore and Lisa is my favorite lady on youtube. I trust her advice and believe it 100%. I suffer migraines, IBS and hypoglycemia. My blood sugar is a struggle. When I am on keto, all of that diminishes completely.
any updates? I worry when we put a number on what they want to weigh. Our body changes after having a baby and everyone is different. like I might have been 128 when I was eighteen but I got down to 132 when I was 36 and I had to eat perfectly no cheat and no alcohol, I just can't live that way all the time.
@Amy Uplinger yeah it's hard to stick to it all the time. I took a break from everyday keto for my sanity, but I've maintained my 140ish lbs. We went to disney world on vacation so i wanted to enjoy the food. I didnt deprive myself of that at all. I'm back on it though to lose the last 20lbs I want gone. It's the first week so it will be a couple months. Hoping to be 130lbs by June though for a wedding 🙏 for me it was manageable with my cheat meal every few weeks. It didn't stump my weight loss at all. I think the cheat meal or day helped a ton. Like almost reset me. Of course with my IBS and blood sugar I always feel my best when I'm no carb no sugar so that's a driving factor for me to stay on it.
Lisa, whatever you are doing is clearly working for you - not just weight loss but in the way you feel. It shines through and you owe no one an explanation for doing what makes you feel great!
Dr Jason Fung’s book “The Obesity Code” was an eye opener for me regarding learning about insulin. I LOVE intermittent fasting & Keto!! It’s the ONLY thing that’s helped me!

Carnivore changed my life! I’ve been keto since June 2019 and Carnivore since January 2020. I have never felt better and am down 17lbs. My mental stability and clarity is phenomenal. So worth it.

Ive been exercising consistently since I was 30, and I never would have if I had belonged to a gym. Too inconvenient for me. I got my modest collection of home weights and aerobic videos (now I just go to you tube). I can exercise in my PJ’s if I like, whenever I like. You look great,Lisa😍

I’ve been handed the FODMAP diet, antibiotics. Nothing worked until the carnivore diet. I know how it is to look for a bathroom wherever you go. I’ve suffered from IBS for years, Ian vegan, however that has not solved my issues. However I find whenever I add in any processed foods my IBS gets worse. And listening to your “what I eat in a day” you eat so many processed foods that probably have lots of sodium. For me limiting my processed foods helped my IBS 💗 Love your videos 💗

I’m with you on not going to the gym with a mask on! I’m happy with my home weights set up. I’ve recently started rebounding, and see a huge difference in my body composition changes already. (Ketovore 2.5 years). They say 10 minutes on the rebounder=50 mile run because all muscles are engaged. Highly recommend!💛
Lisa, I know I have said this before, but since I watched your video in August I have lost 58.2lbs! I mean what??? Me??? I could never have thought keto & Lisa could have made such a dramatic difference for me. Because of you I started Keto and Im down 25lbs! The best thing that helped me was getting the Dash egg cooker (from Target). I looove eggs and this little gadget makes the best, peel-easy, perfect hard boiled eggs to your liking! I know you love eggs too! Its a keto-diet must-have!
I also started the keto eight weeks ago and am down 25lbs. I make hard boiled eggs in my air fryer. If anyone has one. 8 eggs at 360 for 11 minutes and they peel with ease. I just love It! I do one cheat day a week. Sugar free and Gluten free though. I just have A baked potato with the hubby once a week. I think it falls under Keto cycling. 🙃

Also, thanks to you, Lisa for taking us along on your weight loss/carnivore journey...I have long had stomach/bowel issues. Any resturant, shopping, trips of any kind away from the house were planned around “where is the closest bathroom” or a mad dash home after eating out. You gave me the impetus to change my diet and I did. Part keto, part carnivore has been working well for me so far. It’s so nice not to have THE BLOAT anymore! And the cherry on top is that lbs. have been melting off!

BUT, when I watched your first video when you mentioned the "basketball" in your stomach, and how no one could give you answers, I started low carb that day and have not gone back. I'm almost 61 and have lost 34 pounds since October 1. The "basketball" was gone within a week!!! My inflammation was gone in about a week and a half. THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR JOURNEY! Do not apologize. Your speaking honestly to us (frustrated menopausal women who are getting not much help from the medical community!) has changed my life.

Bless you Lisa. I followed you early on when you were doing your cosmetic videos and due to life getting busy, I lost touch with your videos and have only just started watching them again. It's wonderful to hear you have healed your body through the carnivore way of eating. I have had the same experience. The main reason I switched my diet to carnivore is because I also suffered terrible ibs and arthritis in my joints. I also developed pericarditis and had several trips to the ER. After trialling carnivore I noticed a huge difference in just 2 weeks so I've stuck with it. It's only been 3 months for me but my arthritis, my stomach issues and my pericarditis has virtually gone. Ive also dropped 3 dress sizes. So i understand totally when you say you wouldnt have likely continued if it were just for the weight loss. Mikhaila Peterson once said that nothing tastes as good as healthy feels. I live by that now. You look fantastic and I'm so happy for you.

You make me happy when watching your videos. Do not stop posting daily please! I am almost 33 but have had very bad insulin resistence. I feel the same about the veggies and fruit. The only thing I do differently is I have dark chocolate with my dinner sometimes. Also I cannot figure out how to ear eggs. My system recognises them as pure sugar I think. I get hungrier when I have eggs. Thank you for making this video !
Hi, I just discovered your channel and I think you are an absolute doll!! I just started carnivore after doing keto and I am loving every minute of it! I do however love my vegetables! I make up my own fermented veggies all the time which are incredible for the gut and have been extremely beneficial for people with IBS! They cut the carb count in half as well when you make them yourself! I know that carnivore is zero to little carb intake however incorporating fermented veggies every so often can be great!! In the past month I have lost 12 pounds and this never happens! I am doing it primarily for anti-inflammatory effects and I'm already off my acid reflux meds! I quit coffee and alcohol which had a huge impact on my weight loss and I wanted to thank you for your videos!

Gurrl, I just turned 58 and guess what I got as a surprise for my birthday - Hot flashes returned GRRRRR I went through menopause over 3 years ago, but this is ridiculous. I still have all my parts so maybe that's why. I hope that you get relief.
If you have true IBS you will uderstand! I am 65 and have suffered since my last pregnancy 40 years ago. I’ve been hospitalized, tested so many times! I am on a prescription for ibs but carnivore has been lifesaving for me! TY Lisa, unless you’ve had that basketball feeling it’s hard to understand!

Well done Lisa. I am so so proud of you for taking action to gain health - FOR YOU! relationship with food is interesting, one needs to recognise what it is for you. It's the socialising aspect that was probably the most hard to break for me. I'm fine with it now but the pull is real and needs recognition. Also the pressure that others present put on you, passively or otherwise, is also what one needs to recognise and prepare for. I'm past being affected by any of that now. I went through a stage where I didnt even think about 'bad food' - rice with meat curry, cake with coffee (order black coffee), toast/biscuit with your tea etc. If you allow yourself to obsess about what you're missing out on you are going to give your willpower a REAL workout. Once you practice you get to a point where you don't even 'see' those foods. It takes time and continued practice, like anything.

You are absolutely right when you eat correctly you don't even miss the triggers. I'm glad to hear that you're off of gluten, sugar, and raw items. So important to know what the animals that we're eating are being fed and with all of the soy-based feeds. they can leach into egg yolks and the meat source causing a problem for a lot of us as well. It's not worth sitting in the bathroom all day and feeling horrible for 2 days after. I changed everything as well and have never felt better. Found out Peach and Ginger are triggers. So It can be done and thank U

It is so important to understand how the body works and know that diets don’t work!!!!! Keto is a lifestyle. It’s a commitment. I stuck with keto (granted, I do LAZY keto) I allow myself up to 50 carbs per day, but imagine how much quicker I'd lose if I just stuck to strict keto..I have lost almost 50 lbs since then. I am trying to get back down to 120 lbs. It only took me 6 months to lose the 50 lbs following my keto lifestyle.
I've been wanting to try carnivore and Lisa is my favorite lady on youtube. I trust her advice and believe it 100%. I suffer migraines, IBS and hypoglycemia. My blood sugar is a struggle. When I am on keto, all of that diminishes completely.
any updates? I worry when we put a number on what they want to weigh. Our body changes after having a baby and everyone is different. like I might have been 128 when I was eighteen but I got down to 132 when I was 36 and I had to eat perfectly no cheat and no alcohol, I just can't live that way all the time.
@Amy Uplinger yeah it's hard to stick to it all the time. I took a break from everyday keto for my sanity, but I've maintained my 140ish lbs. We went to disney world on vacation so i wanted to enjoy the food. I didnt deprive myself of that at all. I'm back on it though to lose the last 20lbs I want gone. It's the first week so it will be a couple months. Hoping to be 130lbs by June though for a wedding 🙏 for me it was manageable with my cheat meal every few weeks. It didn't stump my weight loss at all. I think the cheat meal or day helped a ton. Like almost reset me. Of course with my IBS and blood sugar I always feel my best when I'm no carb no sugar so that's a driving factor for me to stay on it.
Lisa, whatever you are doing is clearly working for you - not just weight loss but in the way you feel. It shines through and you owe no one an explanation for doing what makes you feel great!
Dr Jason Fung’s book “The Obesity Code” was an eye opener for me regarding learning about insulin. I LOVE intermittent fasting & Keto!! It’s the ONLY thing that’s helped me!

Carnivore changed my life! I’ve been keto since June 2019 and Carnivore since January 2020. I have never felt better and am down 17lbs. My mental stability and clarity is phenomenal. So worth it.

Ive been exercising consistently since I was 30, and I never would have if I had belonged to a gym. Too inconvenient for me. I got my modest collection of home weights and aerobic videos (now I just go to you tube). I can exercise in my PJ’s if I like, whenever I like. You look great,Lisa😍

I appreciate your honesty and your beauty inside and out. It’s because of your video last year talking about your new diet, that I am where I am now. I’ve been living with IBS for years. I’ve been handed the FODMAP diet, antibiotics. Nothing worked until the carnivore diet. I know how it is to look for a bathroom wherever you go. Not anymore...thank you for sharing something that is difficult to talk about but you do anyway to help so many people out there!!!

I’ve suffered from IBS for years, Ian vegan, however that has not solved my issues. However I find whenever I add in any processed foods my IBS gets worse. And listening to your “what I eat in a day” you eat so many processed foods that probably have lots of sodium. For me limiting my processed foods helped my IBS 💗

thank you for sharing your experience with carnivore, I've been doing carnivore for about 3 weeks, 4 months ago i stopped eating sugar , i lost about 20 pounds no grains now I'm on carnivore, i quit sugar because i wanted to get off blood pressure meds and i did my doctor helped me. i live in San Francisco bay area want to meet other carnivores, you are so down to earth and honest with your views and respectful of others.

I’m with you on not going to the gym with a mask on! I’m happy with my home weights set up. I’ve recently started rebounding, and see a huge difference in my body composition changes already. (Ketovore 2.5 years). They say 10 minutes on the rebounder=50 mile run because all muscles are engaged. Highly recommend!💛

Lisa, I know I have said this before, but since I watched your video in August I have lost 58.2lbs! I mean what??? Me??? I could never have thought keto & Lisa could have made such a dramatic difference for me. Because of you I started Keto and Im down 25lbs! The best thing that helped me was getting the Dash egg cooker (from Target). I looove eggs and this little gadget makes the best, peel-easy, perfect hard boiled eggs to your liking! I know you love eggs too! Its a keto-diet must-have!

I also started the keto eight weeks ago and am down 25lbs. I make hard boiled eggs in my air fryer. If anyone has one. 8 eggs at 360 for 11 minutes and they peel with ease. I just love It! I do one cheat day a week. Sugar free and Gluten free though. I just have A baked potato with the hubby once a week. I think it falls under Keto cycling. 🙃

Also, thanks to you, Lisa for taking us along on your weight loss/carnivore journey...I have long had stomach/bowel issues. Any resturant, shopping, trips of any kind away from the house were planned around “where is the closest bathroom” or a mad dash home after eating out. You gave me the impetus to change my diet and I did. Part keto, part carnivore has been working well for me so far. It’s so nice not to have THE BLOAT anymore! And the cherry on top is that lbs. have been melting off!

I’ve figured out what works for me, mostly carnivore and I’m down 43 pounds since June 2020! 🤗🎉 No more gut issues and I’m loving feeling great in my updated, smaller size clothes. 😁 (I’m 5’10, weigh 152, and I’ll be 58 in April.) I keep gradually losing weight and I guess I’ll stop losing when my body is at it’s perfect weight. 👍🏻 Life is good!

Once again, thank you Lisa! I've followed you for a long time because of your genuine sweetness and kindness. BUT, when I watched your first video when you mentioned the "basketball" in your stomach, and how no one could give you answers, I started low carb that day and have not gone back. I'm almost 61 and have lost 34 pounds since October 1. The "basketball" was gone within a week!!! My inflammation was gone in about a week and a half. THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR JOURNEY! Do not apologize. Your speaking honestly to us (frustrated menopausal women who are getting not much help from the medical community!) has changed my life.

Bless you Lisa. I followed you early on when you were doing your cosmetic videos and due to life getting busy, I lost touch with your videos and have only just started watching them again. It's wonderful to hear you have healed your body through the carnivore way of eating. I have had the same experience. The main reason I switched my diet to carnivore is because I also suffered terrible ibs and arthritis in my joints. I also developed pericarditis and had several trips to the ER. After trialling carnivore I noticed a huge difference in just 2 weeks so I've stuck with it. It's only been 3 months for me but my arthritis, my stomach issues and my pericarditis has virtually gone. Ive also dropped 3 dress sizes. So i understand totally when you say you wouldnt have likely continued if it were just for the weight loss. Mikhaila Peterson once said that nothing tastes as good as healthy feels. I live by that now. You look fantastic and I'm so happy for you.

You make me happy when watching your videos. Do not stop posting daily please! I am almost 33 but have had very bad insulin resistence. I feel the same about the veggies and fruit. The only thing I do differently is I have dark chocolate with my dinner sometimes. Also I cannot figure out how to ear eggs. My system recognises them as pure sugar I think. I get hungrier when I have eggs. Thank you for making this video !
Try eating just the yolks. Some people can only tolerate eggs that way.
Hi, I just discovered your channel and I think you are an absolute doll!! I just started carnivore after doing keto and I am loving every minute of it! I do however love my vegetables! I make up my own fermented veggies all the time which are incredible for the gut and have been extremely beneficial for people with IBS! They cut the carb count in half as well when you make them yourself! I know that carnivore is zero to little carb intake however incorporating fermented veggies every so often can be great!! I agree wholeheartedly with everything you said in this video!!! I never lost a pound on vegetarian diets! I went on the carnivore diet after watching your progress. In the past month I have lost 12 pounds and this never happens! I am doing it primarily for anti-inflammatory effects and I'm already off my acid reflux meds! I quit coffee and alcohol which had a huge impact on my weight loss and I wanted to thank you for your videos!

Gurrl, I just turned 58 and guess what I got as a surprise for my birthday - Hot flashes returned GRRRRR I went through menopause over 3 years ago, but this is ridiculous. I still have all my parts so maybe that's why. I hope that you get relief.
If you have true IBS you will uderstand! I am 65 and have suffered since my last pregnancy 40 years ago. I’ve been hospitalized, tested so many times! I am on a prescription for ibs but carnivore has been lifesaving for me! TY Lisa, unless you’ve had that basketball feeling it’s hard to understand!

Well done Lisa. I am so so proud of you for taking action to gain health - FOR YOU! relationship with food is interesting, one needs to recognise what it is for you. It's the socialising aspect that was probably the most hard to break for me. I'm fine with it now but the pull is real and needs recognition. Also the pressure that others present put on you, passively or otherwise, is also what one needs to recognise and prepare for. I'm past being affected by any of that now. I went through a stage where I didnt even think about 'bad food' - rice with meat curry, cake with coffee (order black coffee), toast/biscuit with your tea etc. If you allow yourself to obsess about what you're missing out on you are going to give your willpower a REAL workout. Once you practice you get to a point where you don't even 'see' those foods. It takes time and continued practice, like anything.

lisa you look fabulous and thank you for all your information you put out there. i have gone from 83kg to 72kg now in 4 months. i have learndes to relax and not weigh every day because it stresses me. also i dont work out much right now. because also this stresses me. the weight i just dropping of while sleeping alot. this is amazing. i am 1,73 cm and just 4,5kg away to the weight I hat in my 20s

You are absolutely right when you eat correctly you don't even miss the triggers. I'm glad to hear that you're off of gluten, sugar, and raw items. So important to know what the animals that we're eating are being fed and with all of the soy-based feeds. they can leach into egg yolks and the meat source causing a problem for a lot of us as well. It's not worth sitting in the bathroom all day and feeling horrible for 2 days after. I changed everything as well and have never felt better. Found out Peach and Ginger are triggers. So It can be done and thank U

It is so important to understand how the body works and know that diets don’t work!!!!! Keto is a lifestyle. It’s a commitment.
