When you talk about Oro, it reminds me of a similar deltarune fan-artist... Local h00ligin, he's was one of the popular deltarune fan artists who's known for "YOUR LAST GIFT (vs screepto)" "SKATING TOWARDS HEAVEN (vs Brandle C (sorry I forgot how to spell his name-) and R.V Pine also work the song with him)" and "refined to KILL (Demoman from tf2 as spamton's role au" Unfortunately h00ligin deleted everything he made and all of his social accounts...from what I heared it's due to the fact that he was very stressed out and wanted to take a break from social media so he can focus stuffs in irl, it's unknown how he got overwhelmed but that's the last we ever heard of him... Luckily there are (almost?) Archives of his songs I genuinely hoped that he's feeling better... :(
I want to see more videos on Deltarune fanworks. The only other example that comes to my mind is the final section of Pet Brick Productions' 8-hour behemoth of an UT/DR video. I'm probably going to make a video after Deltarune's finished (or at least after ch 3-4's release) that compares the game to fanfics to see how they deviated from the game.
I do remember that Kazoo Cat made a video on fanmade music, which was my introduction to a lot of Deltarune fan composers, so it's thankfully not alone in that regard.
a super recent example of a "lost" fan work that I already see people forgetting about is shadowkristal's chapter 3 take 'Delirium'. Just around christmas she was uploading songs to twitter and soundcloud over the week that were all under a playlist encompassing a fanmade chapter 3 dark world, but the premise had much more to it than that. The story behind it was that it was a dream kris and susie were under that preludes the actual dark world adventure they'd have in ch3. and the core of that world was to represent the community's unrest waiting for the chapters and was a massive canvas filled with inside jokes, popular theories and just brain rot galore. there was about a dozen or so tracks all each with covers displaying different locations and moments that would take place. almost simulating a fan game without having to do the game making part. the unfortunate situation with this playlist however was that shadowkristal deleted almost every song on both platforms due to it being unfinished, her not being content with the execution of it, and other personal reasons 1 song was reuploaded to soundcloud and an unlisted UA-cam video of the project were made accessible by her almost a week after the initial deletion, hence the air quotes of it being "lost media". (and frankly im thankful that was even done because the day I found out the playlist was gone I made 15 minutes worth of voice memos on my phone trying to detail everything I remembered about it so I still had a memory of it) but I still it definitely won't be as widely remembered as it would've been and im a really huge fan of the project and the concept of it myself so I'd go give it a listen if you feel even a little interested

i see this happen alot, people deleting their music accounts, replacing songs with other songs, or simply removing the songs because they don't like them anymore or need space, its a shame really though i do understand the artist can do whatever they want with their own work Nice video :3
The fan lyrics to undertale songs have always had such an inpact on me over the years, especially lyrics to tracks relating to Chara and Asriel and stuff like that :33 I remember I downloaded a bunch of them including rly obscure fan lyrics back in the day and uploaded them to my box account back where they still are today :333 I remember looking up a few of them nowadays to see if the original videos are still up and I couldn't find them, which is sad though I'm rly glad I do have the mp3s of them, though many of them I don't remember who made the original videos so I wouldn't be able to credit them ;w; Maybe I'll upload them somewhere someday
I have a fanwork I wish I could still play: It was a UT OC battle fangame, the OC's coloring was pink, they had glasses, but the OC isn't really the part that made me like the fangame (or wish to play it after I lost it), no, it was the fact that they integrated the DR TP mechanic, and a SPELL system, which was the only way you could heal, since you had no items, I also remember that it had different endings, and the main/easiest way to get a lot of them was by knocking the OC's glasses off (which weakened them, and made them start to get a bit... self-conscious, I suppose). Anyways, I wish you luck on finding that Entry 17 comic (and all the other things you may want to find)! :D
i keep a playlist of UT/DR fanmusic that i like, mostly just for listening to while playing other games. i can't tell you how many songs have just disappeared from it, though many musicians are kind enough to just unlist their old work that they don't want to have public. i appreciate it, especially given my favorite version of a song usually winds up being the first one i heard, even if future iterations are more technically sound.

I’m actually in possession of a couple lost Underswap songs. “The Final Act”, a Finale equivalent by (I think) Master of Toast, and “??? + God Save the Queen”, a Berguntruking + Asgore equivalent by AZ! Underswap (unfortunately I don’t remember the name of the Berguntruking equivalent, hence the question marks). I had screen recorded them many years ago after they had disappeared from SoundCloud and had found them in an Underswap theme compilation on UA-cam after days of searching when I realized they had disappeared; the compilation I found them in is long gone now too. There’s one song I don’t have though that I wish I could find. It was either a Finale or Hopes and Dreams equivalent (I could never tell which it was meant to be) that used the Happy Town leitmotif as the main melody, it was on SoundCloud for a few months before the song and the account it was on disappeared without a trace. It’s been years since then with no luck in finding it.

I found this through one of Oro's posts on the community tab, its titled "maybe" directly under the sprite sheet post on the replies to the bottom comment. also!! this video reminded me that oro also has other songs lost to time, one of them bejng for another character (featured on the post "new sprites for this guy aaaa" - theyre actually interacting with grimerine which is interesting,,) that was removed while their channel was still active

(Rant incoming) I've been obsessed with this Deltarune AU called Four Suits for like a year now. It was started back in 2018, and was in development hell for like six years, and like most of the content was just never officially uploaded anywhere because the original creator was a perfectionist (and also just a horrible person, but you know, separate art from artist and all that) There's untold amounts of concepts and art and videos that's just lost now because it was only available on a (now gone) Discord server, which was lucky to have anything from it now preserved in an archive. ALSO, nearly all the sprites made were compiled onto one image in the archive that you can barely see because the sprite artist couldn't be bothered to actually save them correctly.
given the time period and the name, I can already imagine what that would have been like. :p Can the individual sprites at least be retrieved in their intended quality by any means?
Near the end of your video I remembered an experience I myself have personally had with what you mentioned. I'm not sure if you've heard of them. but there was a Deltarune fan content creator named "Kuromi" who created fan secret bosses Rosey the Rose, Orbead, and Nightmar"E" (For Chapters 3, 4, and 5 respectively.). Sadly, a while ago they announced in a community post a while ago that they'd be deleting their channel as not many people they were close to were interested in Deltarune, which made them feel demotivated. So we never got to see their Chapter 6 SB or even a boss theme for Nightmare"E". Thankfully, all their work has been re-uploaded by people (Which they've said they're okay with) so you can still find it if you want to check their work out :) Btw, was Oro's secret boss made before or after Chapter 2? I don't think you specified, but if it's before Chapter 2 then that means it managed to predict freedom motif being a recurring thing, which is honestly kinda cool
It's nice to see more stuff being reuploaded, even if the necessity being there isn't great. I hope Kuromi comes back at some point. As for Oro, yes, this is absolutely after Ch2 :p

There was this one omnilovania, Omnilovania V2, by siroa. I thougth that, even tho omnilovanias never really come out fine because they try to adapt every song into the same style, they did a pretty good work and was fun to listen to. It had a good amount of good tracks, and it even had a second fase for more meta tracks! One day, they deleted all their videos on youtube and rebranded to aoris. They started doing nightcore tracks or something like that and I felt a little betraid becuase they could have just made a second channel instead of basically burn everything. Don't get me wrong. They are on their right to delete everything, despite that being quite sad. What I didn't like was them essentially forcing all thair subscribers to subscribe to a channel they knew nothing about without them even knowing. None of them were subscribed for that content. Most of them aren't going to recognice your channel and when they try they are not going to find anything remotely familiar. What was even the point, man.
