Unsubbed because of misleading title.I read it as dlc adds new boss weapons because title is too long,i cannot get full title without clicking it.I am disapointed with your actions.

Is the Wing of Astel considered to be disappointing? I think it‘s one of the most unique weapons in the game
i wouldn't consider it disappointing, it's just that astel's stuff in general is very strange in placement. Like you can find the wing of astel just... there... on a random corpse in the ainsel river, before you even fight astel. And it doesn't help that the wing of astel is better in every way to the bastard's stars flail which is astel's remembrance weapon
@@raghav1026 there are many Astels. But yes it’s way better than the flail.
Wings or Astel is amazing especially when you’re duel wielding with both.
@@raghav1026you actually find the wing of astel in a Chest above where you’ll find the first withering astel throwing meteors at you. It’s still a nonsensical placement

I feel like calling the wing of astel disappointing is ridiculous, it has crazy stance damage and a great moveset
The move set is a basic ass curved sword move set. nothing special
@@alexandrosstavrou4224 it's got free projectiles though. That's more than most things get. Plus the heavy attacks look cool

Am I the only one distracted by the fact that "new" weapon arts are reskins of existing ones? For example, astel's teleport, which is a version of dragon's cragblade skill.
I personally don't hate new designs like that, but as I know, Froms get criticized much for reusing their own assets over and over again, and this upcoming mod does just the same thing, with bosses, weapons etc.
I'm a little confused myself with ambivalent feelings: thirst for new content for the favorite game on one hand, and unavoidable sense of recognition every time seeing re-colored and re-special effected attacks, models and animations on another.
I'm very curious about what do other people think on that, including creators, who are, no doubt, very diligent and true fans of soulsborne
I think it's a mix of assets that are easy enough to code and use as well as functionality/ease of use.
It'd be another challenge entirely to make new code and animations for all new weapon arts, spells and movesets on top of how all of the aforementioned would interact with the environment (colliding against walls, animations for hitting enemies, etc.). So in order to make things a bit easier, modders tend to use pre-existing animations for the base of new ones. For a game with such a huge variety as Elden Ring, personally, I'm willing to overlook a few weapons doing the same movements if it means I can obliterate my opponents with the power of the stars. I think Garden of Eyes have been doing a stellar job with making weapons, bosses and more that make the game feel more immersive and the reward for taking down these monstrous bosses feel even better.
Yeah I gotta say that these weapons are quite mid. You should look up the weapons of cleverraptor6 and AbAeterno42, top weapons imo.
I’ve long thought of making spells based on the Dragon Communion tree, replacing the dragon head with the God Devouring Serpent’s head (especially since none of his current boss weapons represent that phase). Nice to see it can be done.
I love the look of the Sehrosh's Claws moveset. One small change I would make though would be the replace the Taker's Flames effect with a poison effect, which lines up better with the boss moveset, and gives a little more diversity, as it just looks like a quicker version of the regular one as is.
The creativity here is outstanding, I love it!

Alright hear me out the goal of the frenzied flame god is to melt everything back into a primordial state with no order or chaos just unity rykard is consuming everything to make everything one so my idea a frenzied rykard under the capital who has discovered the flame and the corpses of those burned by it and he gets a massive power upgrade from all the cool shit he finds

Thesew are alright, love the finishers for loux & astel. We need more (even if its optional) flashy weapons for this modpack. Absolutely assblasting devil may cry movesets.
Misleading thumbnail :/ could have said it was a mod in there or in title.
The Rykard whip design is kind of silly. It's too on the nose. Rykard wouldn't have a perfect model of his face carved into the side of the weapon. Instead, the weapon would more than likely be heavily gilded and adorned with jewels. Look at Rykard's hands covered in rings in his cutscene or even the model of the Blasphemous Blade without all the snake parts corrupting it.

@@bandarsalh1338I would kinda make sense if it was illegal unless they have a license to add content to add to the game and generate money from it. That’s how it works in the music industry if you want to make your own version of someone else’s song and earn money off of it..
But yeah I wonder how this actually works legally.
@@bandarsalh1338It is. The idea is that you make people pay for "early access" with the assumption that the full version is going to be free. Of course there is nothing stopping mod makers from just making it never leave early access so do with that information as you will.
If I remember correctly, it's in Early-acces for the Patreon supporter and will be out for free when fully completed, but you might want to check the information before trusting me
The designs are top tier, but the weapon arts are so over the top it really kills their "uniqueness", unless they cost 80+FP to cast, I don't think they'll be balanced and still make playing with them not an easy mode
