So idk if your out kit has everything mine had. But basically you remove the bottom half of the air box as well, sometimes in the wheel well area there are nuts to loosen for the air box. Then in the kit there should be a metal bar. That's the bracket you bend one side into and L shape and put it in between the filter and the maf. there's the tighetening plumbers ring it goes around that. Then the other end of the bracket connects to one of the old support bolts where the air box used to mount. U can bend the bracket and twist as needed. That prevents it from bouncing and gives it support
I've just got an e36 compact and am looking for a induction kit like this does the adapter come with it? As can buy just a pod filter and adapter separate if I can get one somewhere
You were supposed to put that bracket on the inside ov the air box, and the filter goes on the inside and everything looks stock. I mean put the bracket on the inside of the upper part of the air box
@@lunfc8943 so, in m mind, you put the bracket for the filter inside of the filterbox, so that the filter box holds the afm sensor and the filter. I would try this, take off the upper filter cover, remove the litle plastic pracket, if there is one, and put the metal bracket for the filter inside of the upper filter box. Then put the filter in and close the box, so the filter is covered.
im planning to keep this car for a long time, im just having some fun with it at the moment, i have long term plans to restore it and build it up to M3 spec, all these little mods that "ruin it" are just temporary for fun
yeah a few people have said that, but for now im running stock angle in the front and putting more negative camber would just wear the tyres unevenly rather than actually benefit performance
i've never seen an air filter install so fun before. ty xD
UK in a nutshell.

Thats one of the worst attempts at any kind of install i've ever seen. Please don't try and change the engine, you've absolutely no chance.
