Same here, i got back up with my watering routine but trying to mist more, i notice that the moss is drying sooner may be because of the heat of the house,…I’m finally getting my Bellina to form buds thru artificial lighting it really helps and it doesn’t need to be growing lights 😊.. your collection looks great 😍

Thank you my friend! Yeah the Hoyas are taking over, but I love them. That numilaroides is amazing. I can't believe it flowered so quickly. In the spring when they get bigger I can send you some more with that tetraspis which will probably closer to blooming size at that point lmao

Looks great. What is your electricity bill with those lights? And without? As I live in nyc as well, I am curious if Con Ed is billing me correctly (my bill fluctuates between 75 and 100 dollars. Lately 115 with more lights). I use a gas stove for cooking.
Ugh, it's like $180 last month Lol. It's a bigger apartment though and I run a washer and dryer in it so it's gonna be higher than normal. In the summer it goes beyond that, I hate it. I don't think it's the light that affects my bill so much but my dryer and AC.
@@NicoleDeanna Good to hear. I live in an old building and a dept of building inspector said my bill was too high. Probably the grow lights are $20-30 a month. I use no AC, which I dislike except for 5 nights a year. No washer and drier, but then I'd have to factor about $7 a week for using a laundromat. It all adds up, but at least grow lights got cheaper and more efficient than a few years ago... Some grow lights in my apt go on just after the sun moves away from the window, others just before sundown.
It's nice to see there's always a lot happening in large collections 👍🏼. Looks like there's a lot of orchid chores to do!

It's only a few months old! I got a cutting of it in July. It bloomed so quickly, it smells so good!

I do! It's on the top shelf all the way on the left where my hoyas are
