Haha you can put it that way if you want. They are more convenient then full gloves and protect the parts from getting damaged from handling.

I remember watching this video years ago to customize my 6s with a pink casing & I loved the music! Now the music is gone.. 😢 What was the name of that nice music at 05:38?
does this have to be in the order that you do them in? or is that optional
so i took it apart. Super careful. Nothing is broken but i have vertical lines now and touch screen is unresponsive. Ive tried reseating the cables but nothing helps. any ideas?
Hi,the vertical lines may lie in several reasons, you can check this blog for some guides www.etradesupply.com/blog/how-to-fix-vertical-lines-on-an-iphone-screen-after-replacement/, as to the unresponsive screen, besides it's connections, there is also possibility that the screen replacement is a faulty one.
What happens if one of the screws is stripped
Hi i just replace a housing on an iPhone 6s plus 128gb touch id was working perfectly before doesnt seem to activate now its the orginal home buttom tried another screen incase the ribbion cable had broke still no luck
Check the Home button flex cable and connector are in good condition
*After the reassembly of my iPhone I noticed that the front and back cameras aren’t working anymore and the flashlight as well I checked the back camera and it seems to be connected to the mother board but when I open the camera app it’s just a black screen?*

Interesting tear down. However I noticed you didn’t disconnect the battery before disconnecting the screen. In my experience that could cause the backlight to short out. I’d recommend disconnecting the battery First on all future repairs...

Great video, I was in shock. Can't imagine putting it back together. I'm guessing the gloves were there so no hand oils contaminate the inner workings of the phone, I'm sorry if I'm mistaken, just my idea. But I really hate the idiots who comment bad on your video, they probably don't even know how to change a light bulb, and they comment on your video. Honestly, I'm no smarter then them, but hey, give the guy some credit, he knows his stuff. Good work, super cool video.

this is a small backplate for fixing the motherboard. We don't know how come your screw bolt is damaged. You may consult our sales on our website if you really need this part.

Well quite upset. Tried to replace a broken screen on a iPhone 6s Plus. My self inflicted problem was breaking the touch panel. I did not realize the panel was only glued around the edges. I pryed from the center. FInally all that came up was a mirror an couple sheets of mylar. Finally removed the panel and under it is a sheet of black plastic the whole piece glued to the glass front. I guess I owe the owner a lot of money. Now I know why I could not see many videos on replace the glass. I mentioned all this so people realize replacing just the glass is not easy. Great and easy to follow video.

Why do disassemble a new iPhone 6s what was the reason. Did you need spare parts lol I mean you could have disassembled a faulty phone :/ what will you do with the parts now ? Interesting though.

Get this. I've been an Android enthusiast, trying the 5S and now this device... In a drop protection case, I do as I frequently have and put the phone in my back pocket then sat down. My accelerometer is now apparently defective because these stupid new, fragile factory aluminum cases will quite easily bend... Yep, so stupid. Don't sit on your pansy princess delicate phone? I never ever would've picked this phone if I knew it was this prone to damage.
And this dismantling process appears extremely intense! Just saying.
Though maybe it's not the accelerometer... I switched off "shake to undo" feature, and disabled motion, and now it's doesn't seem to have any issues with operation, interrupting typing in all app's. Does that sound like the accelerometer, or perhaps the gyroscope even? It will still rotate, and didn't always pop up "shake to undo" when I had it on normal settings, just sucked when it did.
+Beau Gaskell , there is no way to fix accelelometer, especially on iphone 5s. that fail is considered as BER( beyond economical repair)

Try to hard reset your phone(press the power +home button at the same time about 10s until you see the Apple logo), if this way not works, upgrade your phone iOS to the newest to have a try.

I tried to change the housing of my iphone 6s plus but the screw at 9:27 didn't let me =( and now is a stripped screw.
The screw is tight, you should be careful.

Before tear down, you should turn off it and we just tear down the hardware not jailbreak it.
