This isn’t even close IMO. Ten by a mile.
Both are obviously game changing albums. I understand why some people would give the nod to Nevermind for its raw hardcore punk. But, to me, Pearl Jam has that and so much more. There are so many more dimensions behind Ten that taken together rises to the level of pure musical poetry, while also being raw and real.
Being a Washington boy born and raised... so I'm torn 😢 but TEN is the better album in the end
Ten
PJ Ten!!!
10
Pearl Jam Ten absolutely !!! 😊🩷🤘✌️
TERRITORIAL PISSING IS LITERALLY MY FAVORITE NIRVANA SONG:(
Yield ❤
Pearl Jam 10 🔥
Because it’s Difficult to choose I have a top 4 for me! Mellon collie and the infinite sadness, Nevermind, Ten and Dirt! That’s it for me 🙂
Nevermind
Pearl Jam ten.
Ten is better, so is VS
Ten but not by much.
Vs. and Vitalogy both superior to Ten.
Pearl Jam Ten is far better.
For me Nevermind was the more important album. I liked Ten also but Nevermind is an album I listen to more often.
according to sales its nevermind.
No comparison. For all its "audiophile" studio clarity, "Nevermind" was a subversive, angry, fresh, funny, moving garage-rock instant classic. "Ten" sounded like the antithesis of that -- just more stale, generic U2-style operatic corporate arena rock. I tried getting into "Ten" when it came out but after a couple weeks I never played it again for enjoyment. I'd go back to it every once in a while to see if it was really as painful as I remembered because I did think "Jeremy" was a good idea for a song. I think Pearl Jam peaked with "Not For You" and "Spin the Black Circle" on "Vitalogy" a few years later.
