Entre los 10 mejores albumes de la historia del rock. Kurt era un genio ! El cristo del rock !
6 out of 10 for what is widely considered one of the greatest rock albums of all time seems very low - but to each their own! Personally I think its a 10/10 for the extremely high quality and consistency of the songs, the way that it changed rock music more than any album since, and the virtually unmatched pop culture impact. If you haven't seen them yet, you should watch the official videos for Smells Like Teen Spirit and Pearl Jam's song Evenflow. They basically defined the look and style that was cool during the 90s. In general, the Grunge scene that came out of Seattle in the early 90s destroyed the Glam scene and just completely took over among American youth. Those two videos played a big part in that.
Also worth noting that Endless Nameless isn't really considered a proper song on this album. It was a hidden song that on tape or CD came on after 10 minutes of silence. Something in the Way ended, everyone assumed the album was over, 10 minutes pass, and suddenly this crazy loud jam comes on and scares everyone. Streaming makes it seem like just another track, but it didn't used to be truly considered part of the album.
Some other Grunge albums you should react to:
Pearl Jam ("Ten" and "Vs.")
Soundgarden ("Superunknown" and "Badmotorfinger")
Alice in Chains ("Dirt" and "Jar of Flies")
Nirvana ("In Utero", "Bleach", "Incesticide", "Live at Reading '92" and "MTV Unplugged")
6/10 is a bit harsh but fair enough. You definitely should listen to Nirvana's other records (Bleach, Incesticide, In Utero)
But you should delve into the other big grunge bands like Alice in Chains (definitely has to be Dirt), Soundgarden (my personal favourite has gotta be Badmotorfinger) and Pearl Jam (Ten is definitely one of if not their best record)
Algorithm hates this video for whatever reason, didn't find this video until now 12 days after publishing. Great reaction.
You should listen to Bleach lol
I love Chad's drumming on Bleach
How many albums have this many awesome tracks?
6 out of 10 is way to low.
Loads of interesting conspiracy stuff surrounds his death,
And died age 27 like so many other celebrity's,
Ever heard of the 27 club? That's another conspiracy.
You have to listen the Self-Titled album by System of a Down (1998)...a Nu Metal band but they have a very hard rock style in their metal songs, too much heavy, too much soft, too much crazy, too much groovy...
A 6? This guy hates good music. Avoid this channel
Yeah of course I do when Nirvana's one of my most listened to artists, after listening more to the album I'd give it a 7, there are significantly better albums and that's not me "hating" on good music.
quit crying cuz this guys opinion isnt identical to urs
NIrvana is one of your most listened to artists? Then you must like mediocre musicians (since 6 is considered average). @@JonesReactions
