Quick Tip: Removing a Talon Grip

In this video, I show how to remove a Talon grip from a handgun. It's a quick process and typically leaves very little glue residue on the frame, which can be removed by rubbing alcohol.

I've used chlorine free brake cleaner on the frame and that stuff removes everything built up without damaging anything including the frame....may wanna try that after removing the grip tape...but good tips overall

So either that tape wasn't very old, or the fact that I tried heat while removing is what left a ton of the residue on my frame.

Talon grips aren't even good at least the plastic ones
