I've picked up myself a couple of pairs of these - can you or anyone else confirm what the outer later is on these. Seems they have some kind of waterproof layer on the outside of the shoe which looks a little strange to be honest. I do love the fit and comfort though. 10/10 on that side
Hi there, I was recommended theses Merrells for hillwalking.. My key requirements.. I'm 55 and poor ankles (twist easily) and knees (painful up and down steps and hills) so I wanted a good support coming down hills, especially with loose stones. I also have a wide foot (bunions!) so have trouble getting a suitable shoe. I tried on ans loved but went on a low impact flat 7K walk yesterday to break in. My hips were in awful pain since. The chap in the store did mentioned an bubble supper in the sole which means I would feel more impact... Could this be the cause? Any recommendations for best shoe for my needs? Thanks
Hey man! I’m looking to make a purchase of them but I’m not sure of the sizing as I were a bit confused after looking at Merrell’s size chart. My true size is US 7 which is EU 40 but according to the size chart US 7.5 were EU 38??? Does not make any sense that US 7 are EU 37.5. Please help!!

Just watched another review that said they were not waterproof.
I can't see anyone going thru process to prove they are failing?
Did you ever figure out if they were it’s the factor between me buying them or not?
