Hey man! I’m looking to make a purchase of them but I’m not sure of the sizing as I were a bit confused after looking at Merrell’s size chart. My true size is US 7 which is EU 40 but according to the size chart US 7.5 is EU 38??? Does not make any sense that US 7 are EU 37.5. Please help!!
Anyone know a video of these being tested by an actual hiker. Not just some guy who wears them 500 feet outside of town or in his yard? Like hikes in wilderness areas with and 80lb pack? I'm sorry but this isn't hiking. It's a short walk.
wow dude. you must really go on long hikes if you consider what i did a short walk. but i totally understand. my video doesnt really go into the long term durability testing of the shoe and i can only assume that with its rugged materials it can be quite the formidable "Hiking" shoe. But if you ever get them. please let me know your thoughts on them as im keen to know what a real "Hiker" thinks about them ;)
@@KIXPLORE I may have said that wrong. What I meant is tested on an actual hike. You know? Like with a pack on in a wilderness area. Like how well do they hold up on ever changing trail conditions over 10 to 20 days.
I hike around 500 to 600 total miles a year. That's with an 80 to 90 lb pack. Enough food and gear for around 20 days in. I hike wilderness area with no roads and no motor vehicles of any kind by law. Either you hike in or ride a horse in.
@@Rillustdusty hiker did a 5 shoe comparison test where he hiked 20 miles in each over the course of a month and these came out on top, I’d highly recommend checking out his videos, very in depth and definitely a “true hiker”

Sorry if that sounded insulting. I watched like 12 videos in a row review hiking shoes without actually hiking.
