No talking, just walking. Exploring the Scottish Countryside. A nice gentle walk around The Barr Trail and Fairy Village, located near the village of Barr in South Ayrshire, Scotland. Barr is situated about 8 miles inland from the coastal town of Girvan and lies within the picturesque hills and valleys of the Galloway Forest Park. The Barr Trail is a network of walking paths that meander through the beautiful countryside surrounding the village of Barr. The trails vary in length and difficulty, catering to both casual walkers and more experienced hikers. The Fairy Village captures the imagination of visitors, especially children, who enjoy exploring the magical settings and discovering the tiny fairy homes hidden among the trees and undergrowth. A beautiful walk! Do enjoy :)

About Dave's Walks
Hi there, I‘m Dave! I've lived in the English Countryside all my life, and I love it! I enjoy walking, and couldn’t help but notice just how beautiful the UK can be away from the cities. I found myself inspired and decided to get some camera equipment and make some walking videos so I can share my walks of the beautiful countryside with everyone!
I mainly focus on small towns, villages, picturesque landscapes, rolling hills and mountains, forests and canals, all along the coastlines in England, Scotland, Wales, and who knows maybe one day further afar!
I upload every 5 days 11am GMT (3am PST) (6am EST) (4.45pm IST) (8.45pm ACST)

I use the free version of Davinci Resolve 16 to do some really basic editing. Mainly making sure the sky isn't over exposed. It's from Camera straight to UA-cam. No cuts, no fancy business, no talking, just walking.

There is such a wonderful spirit of peace and joy in all your videos. What a beautiful place, Dave! 💚
What a lovely walk! Nature does heal body and mind. Thanks!
52:19 oh my god this scene looks really beautiful!
I suffer from motion sickness and usually I can’t watch First-person videos for more than 10 sec. until I get dizzy. But your videos are so smooth, I can follow the whole video ❤
A wonderful walk it is.
Having a hard time finding the words. This was some kind of walk, Dave. Thank you
Nice!
I know it's clichèd to say,......but this walk is something pretty 'magical'. Great job on this Dave mate.
Them fairy folks are brave souls, building their village out in the open. If I do recall, the fairy folk I met as a child in America, told me they live way out in the woods, and keep far away from the big folk. I guess the fairy folk in Scotland are more adventuresome and friendly than the fairy folk in America. 😊
What is happening to the trees? Global warming? A disease? Such a beautiful forest, what a pity
Thank you for not talking. Found this so peaceful
You’re welcome 😊
This is another great walking tour today on the Barr Trail in the beautiful Scottish countryside looking at the awesome scenery
here with the fairy village this is really awesome and another
great video tour of this part of Scotland thank you Dave.🇬🇧🇬🇧
The Scottish countryside surely is beautiful. I loved the Fairy village walk and the peaceful forest. Thank you Dave. 🥰
What a beautiful forest! Thank you Dave! As we say in spanish, "Que Marivillosa!".
Great walk Dave but have you always been good at Limbo? lol.
Such a deep forest of pines mostly...bucolic and...mysterious...Great video, thanks!
Chúc bạn một đi bộ vui vẻ may mắn & an lành 🇬🇧👋.
Dave, my friend, your footsteps on the earth are the rhythm that binds all of nature’s sights and sounds into a beautiful harmony. Thank you so very much for this experience. ~Lorna
Glad you enjoyed it Lorna!
So nice and interesting. Sad to see the fallen tree. We have quite a few here(Tx), from severe drought. I always see you wave, I wave back.😊😅
Nature is not in need of words to describe it. I wish we had forests in England, rather than small patches of woods.
wonderful place! thank you for sharing!
Thankyou Dave for such a beautiful attractive video ❤
That's wonderful.
If you could do that, at night, with a huge spotlight, it would be the most amazing Halloween journey imaginable.
Que maravilha de passeio,😍👏👏👏😘😘🇧🇷
Breathtaking views bro keep it up ❤
This video is very attractive. with beautiful roads. Scenery close to nature
Such natural beauty during this walk. Your maneuvering of the expanse of blow downs was riveting, too.
How did you navigate this walk? Did you have a map? GPS? Thank you for sharing your adventures!
I had a Maps on my phone to follow and I did a lot of planning before filming. The fallen trees was a surprise but nothing too troublesome though.
😎 That was very good thanks.
Do you see much wildlife up in Scotland? Am from Northwest, When i visited as a child i remember seeing a big stag with massive antlers standing on a hill, some kinds of big birds of prey, i used to think wolves were there too!
Big Stags are a very rare sight indeed, You were very lucky! Fortunately no wolves for me to be worried about. Whilst I am sure there is much wildlife I was a bit unlucky and didn't see much. It's even harder to catch them on camera.
So beautiful! It really is magical. Almost medieval. I expect to see a knight on his horse around the corner or pixies dancing among the trees. ❤ Stunning walk Dave! Thank you for walking for us! 🇺🇸
Great❤❤❤🎉🎉
I wouldn't have described it as a beautiful walk, more like an obstacle course with pouring rain and a shredded brolly to boot.... but each to his own! That hill was quite something. Rather as though giants had been remodelling the landscape at some point in the past.
You are amazing in just continuing to film your way through the fallen trees rather than fading away and rejoining us on the other side. Never once do we see the ground or a white flash of sudden sky as the camera slips or your arm snags on a branch. Phenomenal!!
Wasn't easy and I was very much improvising as I didn't expect the path to be blocked, but where I can, I will always keep filming.
👏

Thank you so much. I enjoy these lovely peaceful walks ❤
Beautiful! I can smell the earth just walking with you. I watch several UK "walkers" and you all have special gifts. You are truly the most adventurous! TY😊
This is just so beautiful. Thank you.
Thanks Dave. Beautiful forest walk. Watch out for Bigfoot.😮😊
A very nice walk in some dense forest. The little bit of rain was nice. The fallen branches are a pity and, probably, the consequence of extensive monoculture. Tell the Scotts to plant some other trees in between the pine trees!
Wonderful place, thank you for sharing my dear friend 🥰🥰
Beautiful, beautiful walk …..thank you for sharing this one ❤
Amazing forest! I love It! So peaceful.
That is one steep ascent! All so beautiful 😊
