- It’s day 30. I’m trying to raise my chess rating from 0 to 2000 ELO within 30 days.
RULE 1: Only Rapid Games.
RULE 2: I have to explain every single move I play.
RULE 3: I will give you a checklist of things that you must do to improve your rating.
RULE 4: If I lose a game, I have to play the GROB (worst chess opening) in the next one.
This speedrun is authorized on chess.com. The ELO points will be refunded.

Thank you so much for all your support and kind messages!
It makes me sooo happy to see that you guys have liked this series so much! :D
I'm working on the next videos, feel free to share any idea with me :)
PAZZESCA 😍
May want to consider doing it again because it was so much fun. Might want to use few specific openings only (example - like the London or pieces defense only) or another idea might be there
The thing id like most is videos with more advice on fundamentals, tactics & strategies. Basically chess tips for U1200 that are not so focused on openings like most chess content on youtube.
@@mudsi01you sound like a passive player
Ideas:
What about if you do videos on bots playing each other? Like
Martin vs Fabian
Martin vs Worstfish
Martin vs Wayne
Martin vs Martin
Barbarian vs Martin
Fabian vs Wayne
Bro the energy of this girl is amazing, and how she's always in a good mood in front of the camera and keep everyone smiling and entertained just shows how much of a cool and lovely person she is !!
Congrats for your 2000 ELO
Congratulations Alessia, on reaching your goal. This was an awesome series, and I look forward to more. I think it's amazing how fast you calculate all the moves and counter moves.
Thank you Alessia for this playlist, it was very enriching to see how you think during a game to try to reach that fateful mark of 2000 elo. You are a very happy and bubbly player, it makes us want to play with a smile rather than with rage and anger like many Streamers/Players do. Thank you for this positivity, I will continue with your 1800/2000 playlist because I am stuck at 1800 on Lichess and I find that the step is high to catch these 200 elo points which are nevertheless reached so easily for you!!! In terms of content, I like your advice on the 1500/2000 tranche and your demonstrations of calculations and strategy. Thank you and good luck for the future!
I'm disturbed by lack of "bing bang boom"s late in the speedrun. Congrats Alessia!
Sorry ahaha I also felt it was harder to bing boom bang my opponents lately
@@Alessia_Santeramo understandable! 😁 love your channel, can't wait for the next series and opening series.
14:15 could have played Qxe7!! Winning a piece by Ng6+ forking the queen
Oh that's true!!!
As said in Coffee Chess, outsider sees everything. 👀
@@TheRuns2 So true, but they still deserve kudos for seeing the idea.
@@GoodBadUglyChess Agreed. I don't mean to insinuate otherwise.
Yes, I saw that too, but Bxh6 worked as well😊
I’ve really enjoyed the series since it popped up my timeline a week ago. Very helpful for my own journey to 2000. Congrats Alessia!
Thanks for the dedication of getting a video out for 30 days straight! Amazing.
I was with you from Day 1 and seeing you reach your goal does my heart a lot of good. You earned it the hard way and were positive throughout. You strategic and tactical insights were invaluable to aspiring players like myself even if I am old. Keep up the great work you are doing and I will tune in daily.
I loved the warnings "Blunder incoming", they were so funny. Great series
Congrats of getting 2000 within 30 days! You deserve it. It was quite fun and educational 💪🏻
This series got me to subscribe and follow, and you quickly became one of my favorite chess streamers. Im not sure what exactly it is, as i watch lots of chess content, but i get more from how you explain things. Like i enjoy Levy, and know he has experience teaching chess, but find his explanation hard to follow.
Awesome series Alessia, thank you for sharing your knowledge and creating such fun and helpful content! You're an inspiration for the chess lovers out there who are trying to get better or just have more fun playing! Cheers! :)
Loved this series! You got my sub for sure! Great explanation, really appreciated & invigorated my excitement of Chess.
Congratulations Alesia!! Well played!! Very inspiring to watch!!
Loved the series. Learnt a lot! Had something to look forward to everyday these last 30 days! Looking forward to the opening series, if you make them :)
Your instructions while you play are very cool and unique. In a simple way so it is easy to understand. Symphatic and funny aswell so it is realy entertaining to watch.
Echo 🙏🏽❤️😊
Thank you very much for the educational and entertaining videos. I learned some things from watching, and listening to you give the best play-by-play analysis of any chess streamer.
ve been watching this series for a week now -- so entertaining an usful for real thanks
That was an outstanding series! I’ve not enjoyed something so much since actually being present for the Karpov v Kasparov matches of long ago. It would be instructive if you played a few games against the myriad of 2300 to 2500 hundred players. I would suggest moving the time control to 5 minutes to prevent them from, how should I say, getting a little silicon assistance which can be done with the 10 minute time control. These would be instructive games for sure. By the way, the players on line with 2500 plus ratings seem to always loose to me when I meet them in OTB chess. (Coincidence?) Keep going and can’t wait for you to reach 100k subscribers.
This is no doubt one of the most instructive series on youtube
Amazing journey, really enjoyed every single video of yours :) thank you! And congrats. Greetings from Costa Rica
this series was really informative and your ideas for future videos also sound great :) Maybe just one video suggestion: which books/resources you used to improve.
All the best
Such a beautiful series! I really enjoyed every single challenge of this looong speedrun. Just wordless!!! Thanks for this, Alessia, you've got a special square in my chessborad forever, the f1 square, close to my king
Thanks for this series. Listening to you explain your moves is way more helpful to me than watching videos that just show if this then that. I like the reasoning more than memorization. If you are going to do an opening video, can I request the bishops opening? I appreciate all the time spend on these videos.
Honestly this series is what most of us guys are looking for. We want aggressive tactical chess. It seems so hard when you are learning too. You make it look easy and simple to understand. I think even another series like this one would be beneficial. I realize others would be good too. But this is the type of chess that makes people love the game. Positional chess obviously has its place but it doesn't sell the game to new players.
I watched episode 6 finding your video in the recommendation. Then I started watching consistently from episode 16 until now it’s been an amazing and entertaining series, with your added commentary and explanations, thank you will definitely be watching more of your videos.👏🏾🙏🏾
Loving your thought process
I have seen every video in the series, it has been so entertaining! :D also love the energy lmao!!
watched this series from beginning to end and basically doubled my elo rating, can't thank you enough for the entertainment and hopefully you do similar things in the future :)
In game 2 (14:18) you missed queen takes knight on e7 (Qxe7), queen takes queen (Qxe7) and knight on g6 (Ng6+) is a fork and you win back the queen and you win the knight (Kh7 and Nxe7 or Rxe7)
I am not sure if you missed it or you just thought that the attack is worth more than the free knight. I am 1600 and you are obviously better than me.
This series was so much fun and very instructive. Looking forward to the next one 😊
Congrats to the 2000, you did it in only 30 days, thats amazing!
Well done Alessa, wonderful to watch these videos. Never lose the intuition and exuberance, it sets you apart from others! They make panic and mistakes because of your energy.
OMG! I loved to watch every single videos of you! I'm so proud of you and I celebrated at the end! And, yeah, it'll take a hole life to clean up all the stickers
Really awesome series you put together
Thank you for the educational & entertaining series!
Congratulations, this series is now my new favorite speedrun by a longshot! How long did it take you to clean up that confetti? 🙂
I never missed a video from this series. Congratulations on reaching your goal. It was fun and educative
Thanks alot Alessia! ❤Pls more videos on aggressive chess openings😊
This was a great series. I looked forward every day to the new episode. Thank you Alessia.
Enjoyed the series, well done
This was an awesome series 🎉
Amazing series! 🎉
Looking forward to what you have coming up
Great job! Really fun to watch! I've seen every day and it was really educational for a 45 year old "former" chessplayer. Thanks!
That was some CRAZY journey, congrats! And thank you very much! :)
Awesome series, only 1 grob :) learned a lot and appreciate your lessons
Congratulations. Love the chess. Your talk through while playing is amazing
Nice series, looking forward to the next one!
Thank you for this series. I really appreciate seeing you play people who are a relatable rating and seeing how you think about it.
Congratulations on reaching 2,000 Elo Alessia! I hope you go on to go past 2,000. All I know, it will be much harder to get past 2,000 than to get to it.
Well done Alessia - Really enjoyable and instructive series of games. Maybe the next part could be how to get from 2000 to 2200 (or higher!) 🙂
Brava Alessia, there is always something to learn from your videos!
Well done Alessia thoroughly enjoyed this 30 day journey
Congratulations on your goal, you just earned yourself a new subscriber!
She did it again! Grats, Alessia! I like your our chess-videos very much. Walk on, girl!
I'd love to watch more of these chess masterclasses!!!!
I love how goofy you are honestly it’s so wholesome
Congratulations! Great series.
Great series.. Can't wait till the next video!
cant wait for the upcoming content, learned a lot during these 30 days
Great Alessia! I 've learned a lot, mostly to do NOT exchange pieces just because 😅 Thanks!
Congratulations, and thanks for these videos. You make chess entertaining and I have personally improved my own game from following you.
congratulations
alessia wonderful videos really enojyed them
Wow what a Series.. ❤❤❤❤
Loved you a lot
Thanks for this entertaining series and congrats❤
Loved the video and games!
Congrats on completing the challenge!
congratulations alessia 🥳 you played really well and the last game was hilarious 😂 take care
The energy you have is great
Congratulations! Your playing style is very interesting and lively.
Congrats Alessia
Grande Alessia!!!! Bravissima!!!!
Great series, I am stuck at 1600. But really like your straight forward style!
One of the biggest differences between her play and my play:
In the last game, she notices the free piece and takes it. If it was me, I move first and then notice the free piece. So. Many. Times!
I think I just need to play longer games.
Ahahah understand the problem is the first step to find solutions
Im proud of myself because i saw it immediately, but started second guessing myself since she didnt say anything at first
Congrats!!! Keep going)
I was wondering how many of us now say “free cheese macaroni” every time we take a free piece?
CONGRATS!!!
2000 in 30 days, very impressive. I learned a lot from you and enjoyed each day. Thank you.
Being a father of 2 girls, I have to say that your ears are lovely. No need to hide them :)
Well done Alessia! 🎉🎉🎉
Best series yet. You have won UA-cam! 😎
Alessia i have a question at 15:38, if your queen takes knight on e7, once his queen takes your other knight can fork on g6?
very strong. congrats!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I want you to be my Chess Coach !!! Only don’t try to explain 35 different variables at once or my head will explode! Congratulations & looking forward to your Opening Series!
U made it look so easy I started chess for the first time March I'm now 1000 elo U really thought me how to think as a chess player thank U so much alessia❤
Mi è piaciuto il tuo viaggio Alessia! Congratulazione!
(My native language is Dutch, but I speak Italian too. 😀)
Congratulations!:D
Well done! Great esprit!
I got curious about Bh6 in the second game so I went to see the engine and its actually a brilliant move !!!
Congratulations, Alessia! Love this series. Its like watching HBO show, but with a delicate european flavour and italian temperament!
🇺🇦❤️🇮🇹
Thank you for very fun and informative videos. Looking forward to the new series.
Ngl I kinda wanted to see you play a game while wearing a clown wig 😂
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Big congrats!!!
That's was super good. I learned a lot and take a lot of fun in this serie....and i decovery you with it ! But too short , always too short when it's good😅.
great series!! ansious for the next one
😁😆
Loved the series! Next one from 2000 to 3000 in 15 days? :)
What a fun run!
8:20 u missed queen takes bishop lool
Then they would’ve took the rook
h2+ also looks good. white either loses a rook or allows promotion unless im missing smthn
No, then they take your rook with their queen and you lose an exchange.
@@user-vw9lj1yn1b when black takes the bishop theyre also attacking the rook on e7 which is unprotected. so white can either move that rook or exchange rooks, but either way theyve lost the bishop
@@bullabubble8821 ah, didn't see that rook.
Amazing how 2100s getting forked on move like 4. Gimme that clown
Congrats 👏
Congratulations 🎊 👏 💐 🥳
Nice video .
Can you please do a colle system tutorial?
