The Subaru comments are pretty funny, if you can’t see that he slowed his pace down to let the STi stay ahead you must own or prefer Subaru’s, from experience I know what it’s like to catch a car just a little bit slower than you but you don’t want to pass him and mess up his hot lap out of courtesy, it’s a time attack not a circuit run. Also that transmission is really interesting, downshifting with the clutch but not using heel-and-toe, must be one tough transmission, you can see how rough the downshifting is with out heel-and-toe if you pay attention to his head movements when approaching corners.
So the deal with the STi at 4:35 is that Subaru is the SJ1000 if I’m seeing correctly. One it doesn’t have as much aero but two that STi has a billet block and is making 1000 hp. It’s stupid fast. Go look it up it’s an amazing car

Sequential gearboxes have spark cut on the up shifts, no need for a clutch as it cuts spark on the paddle input, downshifts you have to use clutch as it's expecting load.
Redline RR what that's pretty dope I forgot about auto syncing transmissions.. it sounds like a dog box.. I've just never seen one as a paddle shift senquntial.

Tyler Dowd not really no. You’d be shocked how much drag you can get rid of by even getting rid of the bumper alone. Plus the aero he has kinda makes up for not having a rear diffuser

Change exhaust put some coilovers , lower it a little and it will look better. I personally love stock X more than he ones with body kits and shit. Of course put some good rims. I know Volks are expensive asf but atleast put some Japan Racing ones. Like JR-5 or JR-3 . If the evo is red/blue/black or white it will look good. Ive seen some grey ones and they look so ugly.
What? Paddle downshifting while pressing the clutch? Never seen that. Paddle sequentials (not talking about automatics with paddles) usually don't need the clutch either for upshifting or for downshifting.
There are just 3 hard corners in monza so straight line speed is more important than downforce for this track , olso too much downforce is not a good think , i think they have to fine optimum for best result
This car should of came stock standard from the factory floor with seats as optional extras. Sure you'd pay around $120k in total, but just imagine how many Supercars are slain for that price.

dhedhe I thought so too, but he did set a lap record. Andrew Brilliant's aero is very high downforce and decently efficient
It's all adjustable. I'm sure they chose settings that optimized the balance between drag and down force for the track.
