I’ve had my evo X for 4 years she drinks a lot but wow what a machine !! Steering is very light and nimble takes corners like a bat out of hell. Raw sound and power, ive owner am Sti before and yes Subaru has more funding for back up cameras and other b.s but the evo is a drivers dream imo
my favorite part about this car is the lack of stickers all over the goddamn place
Stickers are ok, so long as those stickers are representative of the work and parts done to the car.
True, I did my vinyls on each door matching the graphite black of the car and it's all parts I used on the build so idk. Cool to me at least

Lots of stuff going on with the pedals and the shifting using feet on all different pedals. Left going to break then back to clutch....good stuff with the seq shift paddles.

Its a sequential gearbox, that's why it had flappy paddles instead of a stick shifter. There's no clutch at his feet

Mitsubishi abandoned and discontinued the lancer evo platform all together, sorry to burst ur bubble but there won't be no 7 speed SST transmission let alone another evo sedan, the SST was supplied by getrag wonderful trans just not well supported by both....
All that splitters and multi-element spoiler with all that noise, couldn't catch up to Subaru with just a single element spoiler.

I feel like the fact that you have to clutch on the downshifts seems like it would kinda disrupt the flow of the driving. Rather than just using your left foot on the brake. Idk maybe not I just don't see why the clutch was necessary since there are clutchless systems that would most likely work better. Unless it's a money thing idk. Still tho love the car! I own a Gsr so I love seeing built Evos like this beast!!

Why he has to use the clutch for downshifts but not for upshifts?
Cause with downshift you'll worn a lot faster mechanical gearbox without clutch input, it is sequential only in upshift, so you preserve some thousands bucks.

I have owned a evo 7 and 8 and I promise you the X is better in every single way possible especially handling it’s only downfall is it feels more refined and more comfortable and previous evos feel more raw
Ask any real engineer the 4b11T is a better motor in stock forum and mild bolt on forum.
