honestly, probably like, one of the most informative videos on how to actually live at top tier in war thunder, definitely a nice change of pace from just watching the 90th war thunder youtuber ramble on about "practise this, use the "look around" key, dont waste your energy, etc etc"" all whilst having some fun gameplay to watch in the background of the enemy team getting torn apart by one guy

Top tier air arcade is fun, way more so after watching your vids, I have been having a lot of 15+ kills games
I basically only play realistic but it seems most people actually think realistic is realistic and not still an arcade game.
I honestly only fly sim these days but I still hold onto an fondness for all the arcade players.

Hello! I used all your good advices! kept checking map, Kept my speed high, and prioritized high kill players! AND I got 14 kill game without a single death!
As an ARB player I enjoy watching these chaotic gameplays and listen to your talking but as a player myself I don't really like the chaotic playstyle of the both mode, for now there's no distinct difference between the two mode and I really don't like that, I wish TTARB can be more slow pace like lower tier instead of just 3min flying everyone die to furball then end within 5 min quite literally being a worse mode compared to TTAAB
Yeah, as planes carry more missiles - and they're good missiles - the more similar realistic and arcade start to become.

i feel like im getting rizzed by you into turning notifications on. the seagull and frenchfrie examples are just to on point. i once gave a seagull one of my poutine frenchfries. i just looked up how long seagulls live and it says 5-15 years, so he should still be alive i'm happy about htis.

I remember a few vids back some guy in the comments was saying how it’s impossible to not be spawn camped when the enemy was behind your spawn. Maybe make a vid on how to get out of bad positions? Although footage for it will be hard to get ;)
I eventually realized that he was talking about how at the end of the match, when your whole team has been wiped out, so the enemy team is just circling your spawn.
Yeah you just don't spawn in if that's the case.
Other than that, if you aren't able to avoid a bad situation, you can usually get out by being a really slippery bastard.

as someone who bought the mirage 2000 from t3 positioning is the only thing i thunk about, sometimes all i do for an entire game is figure out where i can go without getting killed

The funny thing is (just confirmed it) somehow this is the same tactics that early jets gotta use anyway.
To be fair, arcade is seal club or be seal clubbed, whereas in realistic, you have the ability to leverage the space you get and the more realistic flight models to beat people who are flying superior planes.

What are some of your reccomended aircraft for top tier arcade?
That depends entirely on your experience level. Some of the best planes are very hard to fly, and new players won't understand how to use them. If you are 100% completely new, and have no idea what you're doing, and are looking for a premium, then I'd recommend the F-5C. The plane has no special gimmicks, nor weird quirks. It's about as close to a generic all-rounder as you can get.

U should try sim, 4-hour match means infinite potential for killstreaks! my highest is like 12 or 13 kills before dying with the F16AJ.

I tried to play Arcade in WT about 8 years ago and I sucked badly for 2 months and went back to my regular gigs of modding for FlightGear and RC sims. But I have to say I'm chronically cheap and won't buy better planes in WT.
So I was a Hoser in low tier Arcade.
So the exterior views and mouse control in Arcade is hard to adapt to because I'm used to flying with a joystick or RC transmitter as joystick. Does anyone do well in Arcade with a joystick, or is this just stupid? It would be interesting if WT had single player, Combat Air Patrol mode. I like the detail of the aircraft and the realism of this sim's rendering. Sometimes I just like noodling around in the scenery just looking at stuff.

Why can't people just accept that people have fun in other modes than RB? I mean, shit, I'm an RB player, but I can respect AB players. Guess the concept of "fun" is foreign to most WT players.
Yeah no, ttaa is really fun and takes way more skill. But my brain melts after about 30 seconds of combat. Ill stick to realistic and sim. I can barely pay attention to a ttrb mach and still get a 5 kill game, 1 second of lost concentration on ttaa and im dead lol. not dissing ttaa, just a skill issue on my part.
